I really missed them, Olli and Christian, together loving each other even if it was just a chaste kiss or hug every now and then. I do see that they still have feelings for each other. I wanted Christian to give Olli a hug when he talked about his nerves being shot. I am wondering what is going to happened if Christian loses his job. Does anyone know if he might leave the show or not? Someone who lives in Germany probably hear some rumors about the show. I am just wondering.

I keep wondering about all the things that they said to each other before they were married like want to be together for the rest of their lives. What happened to those words and sentiments? Why aren't they remember those words? Olli should have been patient with Christian when he expressed that he didn't want to be foster parents to another child that early. He might have changed his mind later.

Olli thinks cooking would be a great idea. And then, they talk and talk. They express exactly what is on their mind, the unbearable pain over the past 6 months and their still existing tremendous love for each other - and that neither one wants the divorce. Christian should create the opportunity and then. Maybe a dream....

So... let me get this straight: Hagen was married to Marlene, but then Hagen slept with Marlene's sister and in retaliaton Marlene started flirting with Hagen's brother. I guess then Hagen will hook up with Kim, and Marlene will kiss Sebastian. Then Tanja will sleep with Hagen and... Rebecca will come back from New York to seduce Marlene.

Okay, is it me or does anyone else get bothered by Andy saying to Christian [I'll get involved, what are good friends for?]. How good a friend is he? Let me see, he watched Chris have sex with a woman he'd just had sex with, hmmm what else? He watched this while Chris was still married, and didn't stop him, didn't stop Olli from nearly poisoning himself with alcohol over the Philip thing, didn't try to stop Olli from offing himself. Yaaaa, Andy IS funny, and charming--good friend--not so much.

Most of what we have seen over the past 6 months is a violation of the types of people the writers created over 3 years. The show has finally got me beyond my usual state of impatience and obsession. I'm almost content to just wait however long it takes for the boys to get back together or move on. Interesting things are happening in the meantime, and I still love the show, so...

I am glad that Christian is really only gay for Olli, and has such shit taste in women. Olli's been holding on too long though. He needs to get his groove back. Jealous!Chris needs to make a comeback, and things can go from there.

@sklflower So Christian can do no right and Olli no wrong. That's not only not been the case throughout the boys' relationship, it would make for awfully dull characters if it were true. The SS Recrimination has sailed. Both boys are flawed. Christian's flaws irk you. Olli's seem to irk xadam2dudex. Quite frankly, both guys can be pains in the ass and have been so on different occasions. The past six months have been a misery. It's time to forgive past deeds and move on with life.

@paris0650 Let us just chalk it up to 3 yrs of good writing and 1 of poor writing. Let us also remember why we care so much about the characters - they are so much more compelling together than apart. It is impossible to build a good storyline for either, with them apart. They have tried and failed. If the only way you can do it is to build on bad behavior against each other, that should tell you that you need to have them dealing with challenges and conflicts, TOGETHER.

The chemistry between them has both elevated them above the rest of the couples on VL and doomed them to being less compelling when apart--far less compelling than either would probably be perceived if their duo weren't so incredibly good. Together, they are far greater than the sum of their two individual parts. Yes, the writers, unwittingly it seems, created a juggernaut in Chrolli which, when they tried to dismantle it, has defied all the bad scripting.

@paris0650 I think the other part of it too is that they focus SO G-d damn much on the lahnsteins that if a character isn't as deeply involved, the way olli and christian never have been, then they don't get much depth to their storylines and HAVE to be together to make watchable television...

I've tried to find the characters (and their story lines) interesting--to the extent that they ran concurrently with Chrolli's and had, therefore, an English translation; but all of the others seem to be your standard issue of protagonists and antagonists culled from the vast bin of stock soap characters. And none of the couples have that special immediacy that Chrolli possesses. Their story lines may have greater depth but that doesn't seem to have made magic.
