  • If you're not going to use the money for yourself and buy all sots of toys and cool stuff...then don't play. What a waste... A lot of people could have done much better stuff with that money. Like buy a wave runner. Not feed the children... If they were hungry enough they would have bought a ticket for themselves :P

  • i gave him that lottery ticket and he wasted it on CHURCH STUFF?????

  • @SoulfreshhPwns yeah people that go to church are fucked up like that

  • What a bunch of ding dongs.

  • What a waste. Religion is bullshit.

  • Funny how this "pastor" has three different stories of how he got the money (all on official news sites) and funny how the ministries don't want their money because it was from lotto and it's funny how a month ago this "church" is asking for more money and they don't believe in the full doctrine of Jesus.

  • they don't believe in the full doctrine of Jesus? yikes! you gotta have the right Jesus in order to be saved, otherwise u got a poser jesus, another jesus and another gospel that is cursed.

  • more money for brain washing religiousities. if you want a pleace to meet with peopole come to my house for free no winning ticket needs to be given to me and I will not ask for money either from donations

  • Ridiculous... I'm glad their church won't be so cramped anymore. God has truly performed a miracle... Too bad God doesn't seem to give a fuck about children starving to death. At least now the little church kids can have a playground.

  • It would do a lot more good if the person donated the money to a charity (UNICEF, Heifer, Red Cross, etc) because that way he/ she would be improving people's lives.

But I'm surprised at such a selfless act of generosity.

  • That winning lottery ticket is 666.

"Easy money" has wings and will fly away.

  • Isn't lottery a form of gambling? Isn't gambling a sin. Did the church except the ticket? If someone received money from robbing another (sin) would the church except the money?

  • I disagree lottery not gambling

Besides do you know any gambler give his money to churches?

The donor gave his church $3 millions because still believe

no matter what he gave his fortune to what he believe in

  • Why do you think lottery is not gambling?

  • learn english! I think you mean 'accept' not 'except', and stop trying to be a smartass!

  • how am I trying to be a smartass! you dumbass!

  • ok I will tell you how. First gambling is not the same as robbing, because people profit more than money from gambling. Second to rob or to sin is not always bad! Robin Hood robbed the rich to give to the poor. Is he a bad person?

To actually answer your last incredibly stupid and provocative question:

The church should accept the money, because it's going to be used for good. This of course doesn't mean that the robber is innoocent or that the church should promote stealing.

  • Yeah, I'm still confused on that one myself..and I GOTO that church.

  • you say 'isn't lottery a form of gambling?'

Only when it's people who are non Christians

Remember the golden rule 'don't do as I do, do as I say'

  • its a scam to avoid paying taxes on the winnings

  • But if you don't get the winnings taxes don't matter.

  • Why can't somebody like me ever win the Lottery... Forget the Church or Schools... I could use a few million ;)

  • that's why lol

  • What a dumbass.

  • yeah good idea give money to a church....... man wat a tool this person has lost there marbles

  • ha!!! SECOND COMMENT

  • Why is it that Churches need to spend exorbitant amounts of money on a building that is only used by the community about 15% of the time? They could help the community better by building a general use building and or supporting the community more directly. Since they are not for profit the money will be spent, but why spend millions on a building that's barely used. A question Christian leadership should ask themselves What Would Jesus really Do? TH[]INK

  • Well Said!

The last place i would hand a cheque that big too is the church

The euromillions is £70 million ($140 M dollars) and if i won it i would buy the church and knock it down and turn it into a Library

At least there the children can learn what really happens based on Facts and Science

Plus it helps all of the community both christians and people of all faiths and non faiths and it doesnt tell anyone how you should live!!!
