Hey dont get me wrong i LOVE all forms of motorsport! i jus dont see what the buzz is with nascar!! i maean there is no weight transfer, no heavy breaking, no gear changes, and they even have a spotter telling them where the cars are around them! thats not racing thats following!!!
Watch V8 supercars, its exactly the same except its all up to the drivers to brake, change gears and use all aspects of enirtia to beat the guys around them!
Unless they changed the schedule 2 seconds ago, there are 2 road course races a year in NASCAR, at Sears Point & Watkins Glen. On top of that, these cars are 3450 pounds, a real man's car, & heavy brakin' as well as weight transfer are used in every corner, that's why they have the cars set up, to correctly transfer the weight in the corner

@whodeany99 there is alot of skill to race nascar they are going 150 to 200 mph going 3 to 4 wide and having to navigate through that takes alot of mental skill it may not be phisical but its more of a mental sport

Hey dont get me wrong i LOVE all forms of motorsport! i jus dont see what the buzz is with nascar!! i maean there is no weight transfer, no heavy breaking, no gear changes, and they even have a spotter telling them where the cars are around them! thats not racing thats following!!!
Watch V8 supercars, its exactly the same except its all up to the drivers to brake, change gears and use all aspects of enirtia to beat the guys around them!

Unless they changed the schedule 2 seconds ago, there are 2 road course races a year in NASCAR, at Sears Point & Watkins Glen. On top of that, these cars are 3450 pounds, a real man's car, & heavy brakin' as well as weight transfer are used in every corner, that's why they have the cars set up, to correctly transfer the weight in the corner

@whodeany99 there is alot of skill to race nascar they are going 150 to 200 mph going 3 to 4 wide and having to navigate through that takes alot of mental skill it may not be phisical but its more of a mental sport

I was at this race too, I was sitting at the very end of the frontstretch right at Turn 1. I wish i couldve been closer to the wreck, but you could see pretty well from over there too.
