  • I am so dismayed by the amount of arguments between believers,,,nit picking on this and that doctrine attacking this and that preacher,,,we are saved before we even understand all of these theological schools of thought,,,were not saved by our doctrine nor are we condemned bc we make an error understanding something in the bible,,,declaring this man or that has a different GOD simply bc he misunderstood a few passages its wrong and prideful STOP DIVIDING THE BODY OF CHRIST

  • u believe in predestination and no free will, but not salvation for everyone.... well that God is a complete asshole..... luckily he's imaginary as well

  • Sovereign Mercy ~ yes

  • Glory to God! Just a thought ~ since we agree & know that the Scriptures are inerrant it always puzzled me that the idea of "free will" men were the authors of the Bible, which would make the Bible subject to fallible men's will.

  • @joespell 'Inerrant and infallible'

  • 1. Do you believe in Predestination? 2. Do you believe in Speaking in Tongues is a foreign language? 3. Do you believe that Jesus was born December 25th? 4. Do you believe that Jesus is the son of God? 5. Do you believe in freewill? 6. Do you believe in salvation to all? 6. Do you believe that God is sovereign? 7. Do you believe that God does not love everybody? 8. Do you believe in a blood baptism? 9. Do you believe that repentance is daily? 10. Do you believe in dying to self is daily?
  • @MrARodrigu I don't know what the purpose of these questions are, but? You asked, 1. Do you believe in Predestination? Yes! 2. Do you believe in Speaking in Tongues is a foreign language? Yes! 3. Do you believe that Jesus was born December 25th? No! 4. Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God? Yes! 5. Do you believe in freewill? No! 6. Do you believe in salvation to all? No, the Elect only! 6. Do you believe that God is sovereign? Yes!

    cont...

  • @MrARodrigu 7. Do you believe that God does not love everybody? Yes! 8. Do you believe in a blood baptism? Explain! What do you mean by blood baptism? 9. Do you believe that repentance is daily? Yes! B/c we sin daily! 10. Do you believe in dying to self is daily? Yes!

  • @MrARodrigu what is blood baptism>

  • Everyone's life is just like a giant Rube Goldberg machine. This thing causes that thing, and determines God's Holy will for each one in the end.

  • Everyone needs to read the 18th chapter of Ezekiel asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @soufmpls Let me guess, Eze 18:23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? Is this what you wanted us to see? Oh,you people act as if we never read any of this. ~shaking head~

  • @1689Baptist ...it's 'wagging head', not 'shaking head' Better yet ~wags head~ would have been best.

  • I like the fact that he says he preaches holiness, too...

Noah was to the business of the building the ark, going on with that great, difficult, and expensive affair, till it was finished, and till the flood came. Men must not only be diligent in the use of the means of grace, and be anxiously engaged to escape eternal ruin, till they obtain hope and comfort; but afterwards they must persevere in the duties of religion, till the flood come, the flood of death. ~ Jonathan Edwards

  • Thanks for sharing this, Jeff.

  • "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy." ~Romans 9:13-16

  • I am currently (and slowly) reading "The sovereignty of God" by A.W. Pink. Things are starting to dawn on me...God is sovereign in the fullest sense of the word.

  • @daafith Burn that book brother and then pray that God will show you His true nature-then go build His kingdom! If you ca make yourself read this book, I know you can read the Bible-including the old Testament-with the aid of the Holy Spirit and come to understand that God's sovereignty does not trump His love and compassion."Try" the spirits anytime a man made theology in a book written by a man starts making things "dawn on you". Trust God to give you light on this brother-not A.W. Pink.

  • @rtgray7 I'm still reading the book, so burning it seems a little dumb to me. And one more thing: reading a book does not mean you swallow the author's words as if they were the words of Scripture, so take it easy with all your advices.

  • @daafith I'm sorry, bad choice of words on my part. Please forgive me. I've studied the subject myself and the particular book in question misrepresents God's character while, ironically, LIMITING His sovereignty. Our great God can exercise His unquestioned sovereignty without stripping his greatest creation(made in His image)of it's freewill. Prideful men can't understand how so they have created their systematic theologies. The preacher in this video is the victim of 2 such man-made system.

  • @rtgray7 OK, thanks for your explanation of your words.

  • @rtgray7 I'm sorry my response sounded mean or condescending. This format makes it hard not seem that way. Please know that I've personally witnessed the book you're reading change some wonderful men of God and almost destroy some churches. I truly believe this type theology bolsters the agnostic and atheist cause-not ours. I hope you can look past my wrong choice of words and understand my heart and passion. Please prayerfully consider alternative positions to Mr. Pinks. God bless you.

  • @rtgray7 Yeah, YouTube messages are very limited in their completeness. It's easy to err in 500 characters max messages. I am one those who err, so water under the bridge.

  • "He has once for all determined, both whom he would admit to salvation, and whom he would condemn to destruction." ~ John Calvin

  • @enslaved2God Ezekiel 18

  • @enslaved2God The last time I checked, John Calvin was not God. Absolute predestination, and OSAS has been debunked hundreds of times using the Bible. I am sorry to see someone who has come to the light of the truth slip back into doctrinal error. No one is saved, nor is kept saved against their own will. Man has a free will before, and after they are saved. Predestination and OSAS are doctrines pleasing to man, they take away his responsibility in salvation. WHOSOEVER WILL.

  • @sidrojoe prt 1: I would be very careful in this area,,,recognizing that you and I are fallible and no man has full understanding of every word in the bible,,,we must wade carefully bc we could very easily find ourselves fighting against truth,,,mans heart is prideful ,,,even when we are changed into new men we can have foolish pride,,,Arminans spend more time attacking Calvinists than they do explaining their own position it seems to be an obsession

  • @sidrojoe part 2,,,from the outside looking in I see the Arminans bearing false witness, using slander, name calling etc making video after video attacking Calvinists, but I dont see Calvinists attacking Arminans,,,the Calvinist spends time proving his point using grammar and syntax in the original greek, Arminans spend their time combing every word looking for a slip up and pouncing upon any mistake making a federal case out of it,,,the fruits of Arminanism seem rotten

  • @sidrojoe part 3,,I grew up in Arminan churches & there was no such thing as reproof of sin,,,there was no talk about sin period, they didn't emphasize the deity of Christ & they didn't treat GODs word as if it was infallible. I realize this was not representative of all Armins. but Jesus said you will know them by their fruit. When I compare the two, I see the Armin. tree bearing fruit with a prideful and contemptuous spirit,,love yr christian brothers for our LORD commanded it

  • Amen.

  • Praise God Brother... PREACH IT!!!!!!!!!

  • This man is in my prayers

  • Preach it BROTHER!

  • The Lord is bringing more and more of us His people out of false teaching and to the doctrines of grace.

    Praise Him !

  • Wow. Praise God for His Sovereignty. Any idea if this Pastor was able to present God's Sovereignty in salvation as he wanted to? If he was able to, I'd love to hear it!

  • AWESOME message. His voice sounds so familiar. Who is this guy?

  • @vekl He's my dad. Lol.

  • @ObeyTheGospelOrDie Tell your Dad don't be too hard on himself for not seeing the truth for so long,God just holds back on His truth sometime to show us we don't know everything, yet.

  • Amen!! I wish more seasoned Calvinistic preachers would man up and preach the truth! I'm speaking this from experience.

  • Great Testimony.. Personally, I wouldn't use the phrase "there again" that much, but nevertheless a good testimony.

  • @r8escjohn Check out sermon #2 on my channel

  • For many years I have prayed for my Dad. Needless to say, this day was truly a wonderful day. He called me on the phone and asked me to come to his office. When I came to the office he was weeping and said (paraphrase) "God has taken the blinders off, and I can no longer preach what I have been".

    Soli Deo Gloria!

  • @ObeyTheGospelOrDie That is such an amazing thing! Praise God and His wonderful sovereign grace! Have you or your dad gotten into much Calvinistic preaching yet? i.e. John Piper, R.C. Sproul? I HIGHLY recommend them. For help in prayer and advice, I'm positive John Piper would listen to him if he contacted him.

  • @ronathanedwards Sorry Ron, I do not endorse Piper or Sproul. Both of them believe a false gospel. They teach that a person can trust in the god of the Arminians and be saved. They also teach justification by works. We are not saved because of the conditions God causes us to meet. We are saved by the imputed righteousness of Christ alone. They do not teach this. They teach that the action rather than the object of faith saves thus, they deny the biblical doctrine of salvation by faith alone.

  • @ObeyTheGospelOrDie

I'm sorry you believe that, it is ironic that your name is "obey the GOSPEL" what are you to "obey". The conditions are not the vehicle to be considered righteous, but rather are the effects that one is or not. It is the only way in the physical realm to know what is done in the spiritual. How bout a proper belief in the Trinity? I will guarantee you have not a perfect understanding of it doctrinally if I asked you to define it by your own terms, are you not saved then?

  • @ObeyTheGospelOrDie

I would ask that you actually READ PIper and Sproul FULLY before you make such remarks. I think you are getting misinformation from "tabloid theologians" and not from them. Piper and Sproul believe strictly in the reformed doctrines for soteriology. I should know, I have read ALL of his books AND go to his church and here him preach.

  • This was a blessing. Thanks for posting this Jeff! I have been in prayer for him at the request of Dwayne, and I am so glad God has shown his dad the truth!

  • I'm interested in hearing about how this was received by his congregation...do you have any follow-up story on this Jeff?

  • @skintightpotato Check out sermon #2 on my channel

  • It is wonderful to hear this sermon and to hear the joy of another who understands.

  • Seems like this pastor got born-again! Freewillism is a false-gospel that does not save!

  • Anyone who claims to be a Christian and dislikes the main message of this video, let him be accursed according to the Word of God, alone!

  • How did you post such a lengthly video?

  • Hey Jeff can you send me some of Sprugeons Sermons?

  • @BrandonClapp74 All my Spurgeon Sermons are in book form, I dont have any in pdf.
