I explore the musical world of Dynasty Warriors since I played Warriors Orochi and DW6, and dug up something from it's previous titles, as well as DW7 in the net until I hear this masterpiece. My faviroute level, Yi Ling, I used to love the Quiaos when i was younger! No, not because of their pixels. The quiaos really seem to brighten up levels, i think it was because i havent unlocked them though too :P
I wish that this game had a long ass story with 100 characters. Oh, but I know it will never happen. I'll have to buy 200,000,000 DW'ers for us after I get rich somehow so they'll make one grand epic DW game!
I have to say, although I love the games, I do think that the character creation has massive amounts of room for improvement. It's far too restricted at the moment.
@jimmy134496 I would enjoy that if they had an option to take off auto lock. That's what I liked about 5. It was free attacking. I personally thought that 4 had the best motions but like I said, auto lock :(

We need to remember that shu was not wiped out by force, liu shan surrenderd when the capital was ambushed by deng ai and some other guy. Shu may have been the first to fall.. but they had the powerhouse officers... Guan Yu was almost untouchable, Zhang Fei scared the shit out of everybody, Zhao Yun was untouchable (according to books), Ma Chao was know for being as fierce as Lu Bu, Zhuge Liang was the most brilliant out of all the strategists even causing Sima Yi to retreat after he died, the list goes on lol
just a shame that most of their power houses died around the time of Yi Ling...

i dont understand how Wu won though, they were the least powerful of all of the kingdoms, and they needed help of Wei to defeat Shu, and Shu to defeat Wei.... and constantly bribed Shu out of fear of their armies advance, i hate Wu, the cowards empire should have collapsed..... in fact, Wei should have won at Chi Bi, so that the era's of chaos afterwards could have been prevented, since Wei would have unified China by the time of Yi Ling. (i know how Lu Xun won it for Wu though)

Just because of the solo I just heard, I've decided I'm dedicating the next song I learn to be this. This was one of the best PS2 games I played and the soundtrack was a big part of that. I still play the new ones, but 4 was really the greatest of them all.

Shu had some of the best generals but the leadership wasn't great. Liu Bei cared for the safety of the people and had no real desire to conquer china. Hence why shu was destined to lose in the three kingdom struggle.
This holds true in the dw series, but if your interested, you should check out the actual history of it, if you haven't already. Liu Bei did not start his kingdom in support for the people. Liu Bei fought in the name of the dead Han Empire; he wanted to bring the Han back to it's former glory. Liu Bei was of direct imperial heritage- fueling his desire to fight to bring back the power of the Han.
Well let's not also forget that Yi Ling is painted as Liu Bei's largest tactical blunder. He started a war for revenge. Even history says that he went to war to avenge Guan Yu, I don't think any either Wei or Wu had done such a thing. They may have been too wise or simply did not have the same sort of attachment to their officers as Liu Bei seemed to have to his men.
@markysparklies Motives have no affect on conquest at all, they lost because Liu Bei's brothers were killed by Wu armies, so he started a counter-invasion into the Jing province, but Liu Xun was aware that this was a vengeful strike, so he took advantage of it and crippled Shu's leadership with a deadly blow.... the death of their ruler, they soon went under the rule of Liu Chan.... His two brothers deaths was the fault of their own officers.

Shu had some of the best generals but the leadership wasn't great. Liu Bei cared for the safety of the people and had no real desire to conquer china. Hence why shu was destined to lose in the three kingdom struggle.

This holds true in the dw series, but if your interested, you should check out the actual history of it, if you haven't already. Liu Bei did not start his kingdom in support for the people. Liu Bei fought in the name of the dead Han Empire; he wanted to bring the Han back to it's former glory. Liu Bei was of direct imperial heritage- fueling his desire to fight to bring back the power of the Han.

Well let's not also forget that Yi Ling is painted as Liu Bei's largest tactical blunder. He started a war for revenge. Even history says that he went to war to avenge Guan Yu, I don't think any either Wei or Wu had done such a thing. They may have been too wise or simply did not have the same sort of attachment to their officers as Liu Bei seemed to have to his men.

@markysparklies Motives have no affect on conquest at all, they lost because Liu Bei's brothers were killed by Wu armies, so he started a counter-invasion into the Jing province, but Liu Xun was aware that this was a vengeful strike, so he took advantage of it and crippled Shu's leadership with a deadly blow.... the death of their ruler, they soon went under the rule of Liu Chan.... His two brothers deaths was the fault of their own officers.
