  • The Who = Nylon

  • THE WHO WOW WHAT A GREAT BAND!

  • hei guys check it our my cover of who are you

a hono for this great band

  • I photographed The Who in 1976. To see my shots go to 70srockphotos (.com)

  • 36 ppl don't know who they are...

  • Some things never change, John is barely shown. Still, an awesome video

  • @bribartal why be seen when the world can hear your thunder ?! . . . . bow down before the Ox !!

  • Comment removed

  • DAMN THEY STILL GOT IT

  • DAMN THEY TILL GOT IT

  • One of the greatest rock songs ever!

  • This vid is popular on Namibia

  • mitziethebeagle

  • ringo's son looks just like him back there beating the hell out of that drum set!

  • @donnafawn but ringo is a shitty drummer, zak is not.

  • @Mozilla345 hes not a shitty drummer

  • @LtDrg35 yeah he is.

  • @Mozilla345 You don't know what you're talking about so shut up and don't embarrass yourself any more than you have.

  • Pete is ATTACKING that guitar!

  • no one can master the windmill strums like pete townshend

  • What I like about this is that bands of this stature can often stand up there looking a bit "Done it a million times before"....Not these guys though!

  • I hope i'm that mobile at pete's age

  • I remember the state of my country during this concert. THE WHO this was their best. An old classic yet uplifting and powerful, classic but still moving at any age. Hearing this makes me want to jump up and punch something. The best set that night. They are the greatest rock band in history.

  • Even Chuck Norris applauded this performance.

  • @MadBassist2 Yes, his opinion is an extraordinary endorsement

  • The Who bring the house down with this absolutely scorching version of "Who Are You".

  • i somewhat dislike this version merely because of the lack of the keyboard intro.

  • I suggest when anyone is angry to listen to Whos Next in entirerty,

. It will drain the anger from your body.It has worked for me forever

  • @kameroo2 wow- that's cheap therapy .. for me it is painting

  • either king roger was miming or my youtube is on the fritz

  • 240p

    we meet again....

  • Quoting Pete about these events and the meaning and the power in this performance: it`s all about rage

  • @amr7037. Who tha fuck r u? Fuck off!!

  • What a way to start my Monday morning.. Couldnt think of a better song or band.

  • fucking mericanos

  • The best performance I've seen them do without Keith Moon

  • good thing nothing exploded.. don't know if that would go down well after 911...

  • tru rock tour de force

  • OLD DUDE GOT MOVES!

  • It is so sad that I found out bout The Who from CSI rofl.

  • @wxyzz471 i suggest you buy who's next, quadrophenia, live at leeds immediately!

  • 32 people actually disliked this?? How is that possible?

  • Whether they're teens in Shepherd's Bush or seniors playing the globe, The Who have always kicked ass. They are not restricted by their own age nor the age of their fans. Only death itself will eventually end their run, and even then they will live on forever. The greatest then, now, and tomorrow.

  • Pay close attention all you youngsters and upstarts. This... is how it is done.

  • @lovethebrowns19 It's how it's done when you're The Who, or similar.

  • BIG

  • I Love how this version starts with the feedback and then the synth sequence.

  • i gotta say, that drummer isnt Moon, but he sure knows his stuff

  • 3:05 "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!!!!!"

  • That's Ringo Starr's son on the drums...

  • FAKE

  • The Who - A band with four lead players. Lead drums, lead bass, lead guitar and lead vocals

  • @EskilNaige

    and keyboards?

  • @valx1 Well, they never had an official keyboard player (Pete played the keys intro for this one in the studio), so they probably don't have lead keys :-)

  • @EskilNaige, Zak Starkey is a completely overrated wanker. As a child he got a huge white drumkit with gold fittings from Keith Moon, just because of his dad Ringo Starr. Not worth listening at.

  • @whity72 Is that why he has a waiting list and from all accounts the Who waited till Oasis had finished touring to get him

  • They didn't steal the show -- they just own it, period.

  • Well, in this performance, we don't have Moon, but we do have a Starr. :)

  • Fucking awesome.. Get chills every time I watch this..

  • Pete left it all out their that night.

  • Chills... every time.

  • R.I.P Everyone who died in the attacks! Can't belive it 10 years ago.

  • really one of the best rock sets ever! All-time

  • i saw the who at the music hall when whos next came out with moonie the best drommer in the world rest in peace.and you to john.i love you guys. thats in boston .then when they did quadaphinia in 1996 .they are in the ginuess book as the loudwest band in the world.and now people like lady ga ga what a damm shame.

  • i saw the who at the music hall when whos next came out with moonie the best drommer in the world rest in peace.and you to john.i love you guys.

  • 31 Assclowns who hit dislike, The Who bring every night!

  • RIP John

  • they fuckin nailed this, had the big apple eatin out of their palms, along with PMc,THEY STOLE THE SHOW.i believe the FDNY had a poll and voted the who as the best act among a stellar cast of rock gods.

  • The greatest concert ever, BAR NONE!!!!!!

  • Man, they really went balls out for this one...sick performance.

  • I already knew the Who were great......but am floored at Zaks drumming.....Dad taught 'em well!

  • @dustbunnysafari Keith Moon, Zack's Godfather bought him his first set of drums & taught him how to play!

Zack's been playing with them for years!

  • @dustbunnysafari he's way better than his dad. To quote McCartney "Ringo is not even the best drummer in the band".

  • @musicshake Bullshit, McCartney never has sais such a thing. Do you really believe that Paul could have done a better job than Ringo on Strawberry Fields, A Day in the Life, Rain and Come Together, just to name a few? Don't believe everything you read or hear.

  • @oliaiguambfigues76 of course I do. Even John said that. Ringo is everything but a good drummer and if you played an instrument you'd know. By the way....you shouldn't believe everything you read or hear..beacuse you can find what I wrote in videos. Watch "The Complete Beatles" and you'll see that Pete Best was considered the best drummer for them, but he was fired b/c the girls gravitaded towards him rathern than Lennon and Paul. Then Lucky Ringo was signed.

  • The policeman didn't know 29 people's name who woke up in a SoHo doorway.

  • AMERICA.

  • John Entwistle best bass player ever....

  • @gotit099 I would have to say Sir Paul McCartney is the best, but John is a close second.

  • @Chicagokrzy. your dumb

  • @gotit099 hes dead

  • Irony A concert Honoring Americans performed by the English??

  • @siminithen how is that irony?

  • @siminithen irony? the concert was honouring the dead and the heroes o f 9/11 many englishand other nationalities among them or have you forgotten.

  • fabulous f-bomb insertion by Roger...

  • theyre still the same......awesome !!

  • 22 years after this song was produced, Roger is still awesome, Pete is still insanely energetic, and John is still oh so chill. Love it.

  • They had heroes from 9/11 introduce a British classic rock band... Sounds a little counterproductive to me.

  • @frumgota the who own zepplin

  • @frumgota remember that Moonie gave Zep their name and they used to warm up for The Who in the '60's....

  • @frumgota lol wut

  • @frumgota Keith Moon, original drummer of The Who (one of the best drummers ever) made up the name Led Zeppelin and told it to Jimmy Page ... and The Who is one of the best bands ever, together with Zeppelin, Beatles, Beach Boys, etc...

  • @frumgota That was a response to a 1970's Rolling Stone interview where Page suggested Townshend was a control freak. So who's jealous...

  • @frumgota Creativity, push boundaries, musical progression, daring to be different...Vs. ...plagiarise amplified blues riffs, no real musical progression, self-indulgent wank: former = credibility unlike the latter.

  • gotta love those British bands that do shows in the usa with a massive UK flag behind them :') Who x

  • friggin awesome, great performance, true rock n rollers

  • I photographed the Who in 77. To see the shots go to 70srockphotos (.com)

  • @rogcuadra Weirdo or what? or just OBL's lover?

  • @ggwillym Shut up puto

  • THANK YOU!!FIREFIGHTERS,COPS,EMT'S,VOLUNTEERS,EVEYONE WHO HELPED ON 9-11!

  • Just been reading about Pete ,i would,nt have him up my path,

  • @joedog281 do you know how much of his money he's given away to charitys?

  • 28 people don't know who they are

  • 9/11 the west could send the muslim world back into the stone age very easily, but then its already in the stone age.

  • @Eriktheviking1000 Both "the west" and "the muslim world" have got the means to destroy the entire globe. Let's not go down that road, shall we? We Won't Get Fooled Again!

  • how come john entwistle didn't sing?

  • @hutter2006 cuz he plays bass!

  • @ninjamojo711 so! he could still sing

  • @ninjamojo711 maybe his singing sucks, but he rocks on the bass!

    he's dead now anyways.

  • After all these joyous years they can still Jam!!!!!! God Bless, THE WHO.... Rock and Roll, Great at what a better time to pick us up from that Day...... Thanks YA all.

  • its hard to say who was better live the who or queen

  • What's really cool is that's Zak Starkey, Ringo Starr's son playing drums!...with The Who!...awesome!!

  • Fuck! For an old dude Townshend still fucken' has it ! man this rocks!

  • Those old boys sure know how to Rock and Roll :-)

  • this makes me proud to be british..wat a band.i heard that no-one wanted to follow the who in this concert,is that correct?

  • @elvisuk they had to send out bill clinton after there performance to settle everyone down!

the crowd was ready to tear the place apart!!

  • @elvisuk Unfortanately, I had to work the night this concert aired on TV. However, I bought the DVD set on the day it was released. The Who played their set on the end of the 1st disk. To this day, I have NEVER watched the 2nd disk of this concert, if that tells you anything.

  • hey fatso you want to remember something... remember THIS!!!

  • I saw them in concert one year after they performed at this concert and i can tell you the energy you experience is something you can never explain to others

  • What could have been with the Ox and Zak playing on a Who record with new music. The Who just blew everyone else off stage... It wasn't even close.

  • Just like they stole the show from the Stones in their RS Circus... the Who have that live energy no-one else has.

  • @tmc359 That energy also provided for a lot fights at their shows years back.

  • OMG! Zak Starkey is really good! :)

  • Crime:Rape

    Victim: Replay button

  • @BrazilRacer BA HA HA HA HA...took me a while to get it, then LOL!!
