Water is H2O. No matter how u put it, its all H2O. The only difference is the acidity, salinity, mineral amount. It all varies but the bottled water is a marketing ploy to make u spend more money. Here in Holland water from the rivers is transported by pipes the the dunes at the coast. There the sand acts like a filter and is pumped up from a deep well and then transported with water pipes to everybody's home. You can drink everywhere with no chlorine added. It is said the quality is better then water from a bottle from Spa or an other place.

I hate bottled water. In KY (at least in my area) our water comes from underground wells. It's naturally filtered through the ground before it's filtered in the municipal facilities. I could understand drinking bottled if I lived somewhere like Florida where the water tastes like "agua de culo" but it tastes just fine here.

This is misleading. The quality of tap water in different areas deviates significantly. It is incredibly likely that the source to which the hose was connected had purer water than is widely available, considering that it would have immediately been obvious had the water been scented or discolored.

well actually i'm not saying you should just drink tap water, but don't drink bottled water. i mean it's truly the worst type of water you can drink... if you truly do a pH test on any bottled water besides the fancier ones such as Fiji which literally states it's pH is 7.5 on the back. What you'll realize however, is that the more popular waters such as aquafina, desani, ozarka, etc etc actually have an acidic pH level which can cause problems later on the road. pm me for more info
