I love how most people just hate Nickelback because they're the whipping boys. They're just as talented as AC-DC, possibly more so, if not for the brothers Young. Listen to ANY set of ACDC songs from Back in Black and on, and I can guarantee they'll sound very close. Nickelback at least has some (not many) varying chord structures or pitches. If you're gonna hate them for being the same, then you can't be one of those hypocrites that says that ACDC is good. (For the record, I enjoy both.)

@onlyinamerica222 Actually, you couldn't say the same thing about AC/DC. Most AC/DC songs have the same style, but they don't have the exact same formula like Nickelback songs have. For example, many AC/DC songs have extended intros, solos and codas. Most Nickelback songs (at least their soft ones) follow this same formula: 1st verse pre-chorus chorus 2nd verse pre-chorus chorus bridge repeat 1st verse chorus. That's it. And all with a generic, unoriginal 4-chord progression.

My dad loves old bands, for example. He doesn't go liking their pages though. And based on the interests in media that the youth of today have, I wouldn't exactly say its good taste.
They don't SOUND the same, they just have (almost) the same SONG STRUCTURE. The chords are totally different, I suggest you look it up. Right there, you will find the "physical proof" that these two songs are different.
If you don't know anything about music, don't argue with a band that has proven that they're fantastic musicians that know what they are doing.

They don't SOUND the same, they just have (almost) the same SONG STRUCTURE. The chords are totally different, I suggest you look it up. Right there, you will find the "physical proof" that these two songs are different.
If you don't know anything about music, don't argue with a band that has proven that they're fantastic musicians that know what they are doing.

Its funny because people think just because the singer keeps the same tone and the guitarist keep the same tune that they sound the same. Most people are just jumping on the bandwagon and dont actually have a legit reason to bag on Nickelback.
