Guys, do any of you play guitar? I do, and I can say that it's pretty stupid to tune your guitar every fucking day when all you do is doodle around. I'm sure, if he is a serious musician, before he plays anything live, he tunes it.
@Socioistic and if you were a more grateful person you would'nt say what you said man. He's not getting paid for doing this demo. is He ?? Don't get me wrong, i'm not pretending to fight you all, just don't be so sturdy, even the sturdiest tree gets broken with the wind. Have a nice afternoon :)
What did I say wrong? Was I too rude by trying to defend a guy because he doesn't feel like tuning his guitar every few minutes, like everyone wants him to?
@Socioistic Oh God, I'm sorry I didn't understand what you said :S Really, Im sorry for misunderstanding you. now reading slowly I see you were defending, not destroying. Cheers man :)
@jimiskinglivecouk Most guitar pedal power adapters will work. Just make sure it's 9 volt, at least 200 milli-amp (you can go higher if you daisy-chain it with other pedals, just make sure to allow about 200 mA per pedal), with a female plug and negative tip.
@OutAllNightband The guitar sounds out of tune before the pedal is activated. This would indicate that it's not the chorusing effect. The chorus definitely doesn't help though.
this cheezy cheap pedal is pretty decent. so are all the Danelectro pedals.. they come in handy though the setting on them are kinda generic, I found the 4pack promo to be a sweet little head for 50bucks..
I just bought one of these today, and I love it! I've tried the Boss Super Chorus and these cheap little thing can compete with it..nice analog chorus which doesn't suck out your tone..if you need a cheap alternative to a high end chorus like Boss, Line 6, etc., this is the shit! go get one..nice review. keep on rockin'!
is this pedal also good for stacking in with boss pedals?? thanks! because some pedals tonesuck whenever they're stacked with another brand of pedals..
i loved the sound of this chorus, most richest chorus tones iv ever had from a pedal, but there was just too much hum and background noise with mine, so i had to sell it and buy a ch-1
this pedal is good but the only problem i have with it is that when i plug it in it doesnt work and i have to move the mix knob and then it works fine. does anybody know how i can fix this?
thats a bit odd, its cheap and all plastic so it shouldn't be too big of a deal to hack away at it until it fits i suppose. I would recomment a 9v power supply, batteries are bad for the earth ;)
This guy needs a chromatic tuner more than he needs a chorus pedal. Nothing like paying 1500 bucks for a guitar, just to play out of tune all the time.
Sorry, but i don't think that all of my guitars combined add up to $1,500. Looks like you need to go favourite some more thirteen year olds dancing on youtube...
@punkeratheart I think its a squire strat, he says in one of his other videos. But yeah, its sounds like crap and out of tune, but the chorus makes it worse.
I know that modulation effects make an out of tune guitar sound even more out of tune, but that's only more reason to make sure to tune up BEFORE a modulation effect is engaged. But I guess I don't have to listen to it ever again......so what-evahh! I have a LOT of squiers, they all have relatively inexpensive GFS pickups, and they sound great, just avoid the affinity series and the pre-2008 "bullet" models, if it says "Bullet Strat" it's basswood, if it just says "Bullet", it's plywood.
The affinity series guitars are all solid wood, but they are pieced together with seams in critical places. What you end up with is a baby-step up from cheap ply or composite material. The $99 bullet-strat made in china actually has a solid basswood body, and with oversized polepiece pickups like GFS Brighton Rocks, basswood can really sound sweet, especially if you have a 6L6 amp and need to fill out the mids a bit (but the B.R.'s keep it from filling too much so I can still play my el84 amps).
tune your guitar! dude!!!

@Socioistic I'm a guitarist and I only tune the guitar when I can actaully hear when its out of tune.

try playing around with the controls a bit. that's always been my problem with amps, pedals, and guitars, every knob was set at or close to 0.
