  • tune your guitar! dude!!!

  • are you playing a part from "hey ya" ??

  • squier?

  • I hate fab chorus!!!!

  • Guys, do any of you play guitar? I do, and I can say that it's pretty stupid to tune your guitar every fucking day when all you do is doodle around. I'm sure, if he is a serious musician, before he plays anything live, he tunes it.

  • @Socioistic and if you were a more grateful person you would'nt say what you said man. He's not getting paid for doing this demo. is He ?? Don't get me wrong, i'm not pretending to fight you all, just don't be so sturdy, even the sturdiest tree gets broken with the wind. Have a nice afternoon :)

  • @ricardobjork

What did I say wrong? Was I too rude by trying to defend a guy because he doesn't feel like tuning his guitar every few minutes, like everyone wants him to?

  • @Socioistic Oh God, I'm sorry I didn't understand what you said :S Really, Im sorry for misunderstanding you. now reading slowly I see you were defending, not destroying. Cheers man :)

  • @ricardobjork

It's fine. I've done it more than a few times myself.

  • @Socioistic Yeah I agree I think everyone telling him to tune his guitar is someone who doesn't play themselves.

  • @Socioistic I'm a guitarist and I only tune the guitar when I can actaully hear when its out of tune.

  • should have got a tunner too!!!!

  • Where can i get a power supply for fab pedals? getting sick of using batteries

  • @jimiskinglivecouk Most guitar pedal power adapters will work. Just make sure it's 9 volt, at least 200 milli-amp (you can go higher if you daisy-chain it with other pedals, just make sure to allow about 200 mA per pedal), with a female plug and negative tip.

  • yea guys...the chorus will make it sound out of tune...i mean, he COULD be out of tune...but odds are its the pedal.

  • @OutAllNightband The guitar sounds out of tune before the pedal is activated. This would indicate that it's not the chorusing effect. The chorus definitely doesn't help though.

  • cool

  • this cheezy cheap pedal is pretty decent. so are all the Danelectro pedals.. they come in handy though the setting on them are kinda generic, I found the 4pack promo to be a sweet little head for 50bucks..

  • May I have good results if i use a bass guitar?

  • what were you playing during the demo?

  • if these pedals looked better, they would be more popular then they are now..

  • tune up dude

  • @jeffhepting dude thats the chorus pedal effect

  • the power supply is AC or DC? help

  • I just bought one of these today, and I love it! I've tried the Boss Super Chorus and these cheap little thing can compete with it..nice analog chorus which doesn't suck out your tone..if you need a cheap alternative to a high end chorus like Boss, Line 6, etc., this is the shit! go get one..nice review. keep on rockin'!

  • is this pedal also good for stacking in with boss pedals?? thanks! because some pedals tonesuck whenever they're stacked with another brand of pedals..

  • do a review on a danelectro trip l wah. mine sounds great!

  • People just buy one. Back When I had mine mine i could get some great 80's and Nirvana style chorus tones. Man I wish that i didnt sell mine.

  • wow I don't even play guitar and knew your guitar wasn't tuned

  • first tune your guitar..

  • U should buy a tuner instead :)

  • i just got mine and when i use it there is basically no effect on the sound. Any suggestions????

  • @fasionroadkill

try playing around with the controls a bit. that's always been my problem with amps, pedals, and guitars, every knob was set at or close to 0.

  • I really like how natural sounding dano's effects are

  • is it good with distortion?

  • Yes, now you should demo a chromatic tuner. I am not merely suggesting, I am BEGGING!

  • yeah, that was painful.. please tune your guitar!

  • Get it tune first lol! Thanks for the vid.

  • @BigTy3986

"blood on the ground" by incubus(:

  • What's a Mp and sorry i didn't get you but also how do i connect this danelectro to another pedal.

  • Can you help me, How do i plug in to my gutiar and amp pelase.

  • @bbs209 mmm output is to the amp and input is for the guitar, if u need more help send me a mp ;D

  • he meant pm: private message.

  • Your dumb arent you

  • whats your guitar/amp?

  • is it true bypass?

  • no =( if you want a true bypass, take the Cool Cat series ;)

  • blood on the ground is an awsome song

  • i fuggin love incubus

  • not a powerful pedal... but it only costs like 15 bucks

  • sounds ok.analog or digital?

  • its analog

  • i loved the sound of this chorus, most richest chorus tones iv ever had from a pedal, but there was just too much hum and background noise with mine, so i had to sell it and buy a ch-1

  • You should have cut the video if there was no sound... Nice Demo, though

  • What song was at the beggining?

  • Blood on the Ground - Incubus

  • Chingón!

    Baratísimo!

  • Tune the guitar man

  • it's a squier

  • man i have the same problem but it doesn´t work anyway

  • this pedal is good but the only problem i have with it is that when i plug it in it doesnt work and i have to move the mix knob and then it works fine. does anybody know how i can fix this?

  • TUNE, please.

  • how do you make that pedal sound like a twelve string

  • i have this and its an awesome pedal i love it

  • is this true bypass?

  • sure isn't

  • @shortscalematt Hello man, thans fo the video. by the way .... are you playing "hey ya" of Outkast ?? It seems you are, same chords :)

  • @ledzepelback12 no true bypass but i don't notice any difference in my signal

  • @ledzepelback12 The Cool Cat series Danelectro pedals are true bypass but the FAB series are only $15 so they didn't go all out.

  • I just bought the Danelectro Adapter. Sigh.

  • When I put the battery in, nothing lights up when i push down the switch. Is my thing broke ;_;??!

  • you do know that you have to plug in the cables right?

mine after a while stop working. i just took it apart broke the wiring connections and resoldered it.

  • Did U Connect The Cables

  • I swear, i just got this and the 9V battery wont fit :|

  • thats a bit odd, its cheap and all plastic so it shouldn't be too big of a deal to hack away at it until it fits i suppose. I would recomment a 9v power supply, batteries are bad for the earth ;)

  • same thing happened to me when I first got it. Also, this pedal sounds great for Bachata music

  • @Knivez0r you need to apply force to get the 9v battery to clip on it.

  • @Knivez0r I got mine to fit but it took about ten minutes the little peice of shit isnt worth the time.

  • This guy needs a chromatic tuner more than he needs a chorus pedal. Nothing like paying 1500 bucks for a guitar, just to play out of tune all the time.

  • Sorry, but i don't think that all of my guitars combined add up to $1,500. Looks like you need to go favourite some more thirteen year olds dancing on youtube...

  • @punkeratheart I think its a squire strat, he says in one of his other videos. But yeah, its sounds like crap and out of tune, but the chorus makes it worse.

  • I know that modulation effects make an out of tune guitar sound even more out of tune, but that's only more reason to make sure to tune up BEFORE a modulation effect is engaged. But I guess I don't have to listen to it ever again......so what-evahh! I have a LOT of squiers, they all have relatively inexpensive GFS pickups, and they sound great, just avoid the affinity series and the pre-2008 "bullet" models, if it says "Bullet Strat" it's basswood, if it just says "Bullet", it's plywood.

  • The affinity series guitars are all solid wood, but they are pieced together with seams in critical places. What you end up with is a baby-step up from cheap ply or composite material. The $99 bullet-strat made in china actually has a solid basswood body, and with oversized polepiece pickups like GFS Brighton Rocks, basswood can really sound sweet, especially if you have a 6L6 amp and need to fill out the mids a bit (but the B.R.'s keep it from filling too much so I can still play my el84 amps).

  • @punkeratheart ive got both the chromatic tuner and the pedal :) im set lol

  • Comment removed

  • $14 if you need stereo just buy two and a splitter

  • indeed that is a quick fix, there are some cheap stereo choruses out there aswell though.
