Regarding nDNrMatt2, Yes, I listen to Ashkenazy BUT he and other performers are also interpreting the composer. In this piece I am interpreting Rachmaninoffr and yes at my speed. I could have performed if faster but I chose the speed you hear.

Congratulations on keeping up your skills! I am a piano teacher of 38 years, and I hardly ever get to practice what I want to practice--just accompanying and my students' music. Take care, and keep on recording. Find a Yamaha or Steinway to play on, though.

this is an amazing piece of music and you play it well. your version is slower and simpler than others i've heard - and i think that does all the more justice to its stunning, haunting melody.

it's also very helpful - i am trying to learn it, and your playing made it easier to follow along.

Gorgeous piece, G minor is so similar to D minor with the tone. Love the passion represented from the gentle softer notes to the harder playing and the lower register. Wonderful performance, and with such passion!!!!!!
