I have loved the Giants....FOREVER. I don't live in NY (nowhere near to it) but from the second I understand football, the Giants just drew me. And one of my parentals went to UNC so to see Hakeem NIcks get drafted and be one of there best players...just amazing. his hands are HUGE like 10 1/2 inches look at :32 when he tries to juke he holds the ball wit his left hand and doesn't fumble it. if you have average sized hands when you move your arm like that the ball will slip out.

@0211355 but he's a college, now a professional athlete, him and his team would have been pissed if he didn't make that catch, yeh it was behind him but it was definatly catchable for him and because the catch was during a game dosn't mean anything for him either, i dont see why i couldn't do it in a game, what am i gonna be too nervous, it's like a 5 yard in route, its not that difficult.

everyone looks at this catch as hakeems only accomplishment, well he did score 3 tds with the giants of 50+ yards his rookie year along with 47 catches and 6 tds along 790 rec yards. if he can stay healthy, hell be a BEAST mayb even the next michael irvin?

As of right now, their aerial game is the only thing they have going for them. This is a team that needs much work. Is Jacobs done? Giants secondary.. lol. Tuck defensive line leader? They are a day and night team when everything is in flux they dominate, but one imbalance in the equilibrium and they are fucked.

Hakeem is Beastin it so far for the Giants! I'm surprised he didn't go higher up in the draft because he is showing amazing potential. He needs to work on his hands, but he's a serious threat for "yards after catch". The Giants receiving core is actually turning out to be a strength this year, I love the potential in Manningham too.

#31 is in disbelief because he had a chance to tackle Nicks but presumably saw the ball behind his back and assume it was incomplete so he just softly pushed Nicks (on 3rd & 7 no less) rather than wrapping him up and taking him down.

his hands are HUGE like 10 1/2 inches look at :32 when he tries to juke he holds the ball wit his left hand and doesn't fumble it. if you have average sized hands when you move your arm like that the ball will slip out.

its pretty impressive that he came up with it but he should have caught it with his hands in the first place... it hit his hands then he took it around his back, you cant call it catch of the year when he bobbled it instead of catching it correctly, then only getting about 15 yards.
