That's exactly how video-game music was made back in those days: using a synthesizer, putting different tones and voices together in a rythmic way.

And I think modplug isn't that diferent.

for some reason modplug tracker makes the music sound 8bit, and kinda oldish, you know from like the 80's video games or 90's

Sounds like Giorgio Moroder is back, and this time it's personal (and not in a good way). And what's with the single static picture? Lazy? And if you're going to order us around, at least have the decency not to :P us. I wrote better music 20 years ago when I got a Roland Jupiter 8 synthesizer and I don't even play keyboards.
