Great ad! They really should air this on TV. I joined etsy less than a week ago , and already made one sale. It's much different than e*ay - the 2 cent per item fee includes 6 photos, and your listing stays up for 4 months or until your item is sold (whichever comes first)

etsy is a great idea, but the current management is awful, i sold there for only 4 months with only 3 sales (i get about 7 sales each month on other sites)and went back to ecrater and blujay, the technical support is bad,they claim that it's the sellers responsability to promote and advertise their own shop, but the prices to post are way too high, i was paying almost the same as i did one ebay and the fuckers still expect sellers to advertise!!! that is BS.

It's your shop, so yes, it's your responsibility to promote your shop and your items. Doing absolutely nothing but listing items (for $0.20 per listing which is nothing like Feebay) is not enough to get people to buy from you. Besides, promoting your shop is fun!

But hey, if you prefer other sites, that's up to you.

I'll stick with Etsy, where I have my own little shop under the name Timeless.
