If you think that GSP is at the top of the most desirable UFC fighters as voted by women then give this comment a THUMBS UP LIKE. To see what women think Google and read "which ufc fighters do women desire? - survey reveals"
he's the best.. best fighter, best looking.. he's the most respected, least of a douche, and he doesnt waste his time trash talking, he puts time into training and does his talking in the octagon. the rest of the nobodies need to get a lesson from him.
i wonder why gsp doesnt utilize chokes as a so called bjj black belt. thats a free anaconda to gator roll. instead of gaining a more dominant position you can use the same or maybe even less strength to sink in a choke. maybe transition to the back if the choke isnt working would be a better tactic. but i guess who am i to question the great GSP :)
I'm a noone too, but just to speculate, usually a quick reaction will get a wrist/block the choke, and when you roll over, should he escape it will put you in a not-so-good position.
Since this isn't just jujitsu, you can soften the guy with blows first(or ko him), instead of going for the choke/sub directly. With blows softening his position, leaving him open, it will make it a lot easier to sub the opponent. Thats why you see a lot more GnP from full mounts, stead of subs.
@khazal12 To sink in the choke you have to go to your back. Gsp doesn't want to go to his back because if the guy gets out of the choke then his opponent will be in the dominant position. He could do the gator roll choke but the % rate on that choke is slim.
@kobeispimp , I don't ever recall St-Pierre using lay-n-pray. Lay-n-Pray is where u use offensive grappling only to score points and make no attempt to finish. Fitch recieved the beatdown of the year and came very close to a ref stoppage in every round, Alves almost got finished in the third and got owned in every other round, Hardy almost had his arm broken twice but escaped. All three guys persevered through the punishment and survived. That's more of a praise to them than a dig at GSP.
Since george has improved his wrestling he seems unstopable alot people dont notice but his good wrestling is whats been winning alot of his fights anyways good luck pier your the man.
Probably because this is for MMAWeekly. And honestly pure BJJ doesnt interest a lot of people. They view it as two dudes rolling around because they dont understand it. And would rather see a ko.

I like how he says at the end "I hope you enjoy this technique." Yeah, as if it's OK that your girlfriend won't enjoy it as much. ;)

Awesome. It's a good takedown defense basics.
George looks ripped here. He must be around 185 or so. If he'll go up to fight Anderson, he'll have to bulk up another 10-15 lbs.
