Lol my friend gave me his FFVII for free and it has the misprinted ''i''... and for some reason my copy of FFVIII is printed on backwards, so the opening of the case is where the black label is and not on the other side. The front Cover is where the back cover should be and the back cover is where the front one should be.
i have a play copy too, its greatest hits with strategy guide for $45, i could have got a better deal but it was in good shape. a mint factory sealed black label with misprint is going for $800 to $1K. it was half that not too long ago. i might have to take out a loan to get one. there was also another one just like it from a different guy trying to sell his "sealed" copy for $200. from the photo i could tell it was opened and shrink wrapped later.

If a copy of FFVII is less than 15 years old and is already worth $1K, it's bound to be worth more later on!

Actually the original printing had a misprint too. The ESRB rating says Teen (no 13+) and lists "realistic violence" instead of "fantasy violence". I have the original and would pay more for it myself.
Yeah, dude. the first print had the original ESRB Rating and no misprint. the secont one is newer, came out farther from the release date and is waaay more common. but the misprint is more valuable than the GH version, but i would pay more for the original. maybe because i have the misprint. and i cant find anyone who wants to pay $100 for it.

i have 2 different misprints of FFIIV (one with the "masterpiece" error and another one that rated "T" for "Realistic Violence").
i won both of them on an eBay auction for less than $100 this week.
