Ello! I was wondering if you knew how to un-mute a track after bouncing in place. I accidentally muted my track and rendered the synth useless at the moment.. thanks!
@psychomuzek you can add the space designer as an insert either on the main channel or an auxiliary channel. For this particular demonstration, where we don’t have a full track to arrange and mix, it is not necessary to send it through an aux. However when mixing a full track, routing the signal through an auxiliary reverb is good practice.
Hey dude, great vid by the way! wondered if u could help pls. In my space designer & under the selection menu for the impulses, im only getting the 3 types of effects (small spaces, medium spaces, large spaces). Surround spaces, warped effects & HD surround spaces are missing :( pls help. Ive kept my tempo at default 120 & nothing. thanx :)

Thanks for subscribing adygee. The best way to do this woud be to create a duplicate track, copy the region down and select a different impulse on that track. Then fade between the two tracks.
Thanks for that! I see what you mean, but morphing is a very different effect to a crossfade...! I guess a real morph would be technically very difficult - I'll see how your idea sounds! Looking forward to more videos.
ive been using logic 8 at collage and i have logic 9 at home and i cant seem to find any of the intruments in logic 8 for example the 12 acoustic chords .. can anyone help ?
i have logic pro 8 but when i right click on a region it gives me a totally different menu. someone said the blue arrow button should be on to get the full list of options, where the hell is that button ??????
Check out our Introduction to Logic Course for a beginners guide. On that you will learn all the basics of programming beats in midi and audio as well as how to build your own custon drum kits.
to be honest, you can do all that on Logic 7 manually, you just bus the sound out and Automate a rhythmic pattern of dry/ wet proportions.... This makes it handier, but less of a feel to the hands on creation. in my opinion... Its still fecking prime though.
I think the strength of BIP isn't just creative. It's more that you can quickly make stems that have all your effects and settings; great for archiving one's audio and regaining CPU cycles. This is something that has been missing in Logic for a long time. It's also good for just tweaking sounds.
I didnt catch where he got the beat pattern from - he says it at :18 but cant make out what he says.

great video, and sorry if this is a repeat question. Can't you get a similar effect on the same track simply by using the automator?

why don't you use AUX channels for the space designer....??... any reason?? or can it be used as AUX??

@danielsonmafia Hi there. I expect this is because you are using Logic 8. You need to upgrade to 9 to get all the new impulses.

I have logic Pro 9 and don't have the ghost rhythm impulses on the space designer - what do I do? Where are they ? ?

Great.
Took ten years to see bounce-in-place.
Let's wait another ten years for routing MIDI tracks within the song. Put a reaktor sequencer into a logic song and...it won't work!

i want to see how you made that beat and where you found the sounds
