  • A Great Entry Level Bike Very Light which is what I was looking for.

The Bike does not the Bumps very well. If I knew What I know Now I would go for something else. Still a Good bike.

  • im about to buy the CAAD9 6 how do u feel about it? I rode it today and it felt great just wondering if u had any feedback on it? Negative or positive? thanks!

  • @Ebagramirez

I have a CAAD 9. The stock tires handle bumps well if you inflate to minimum or between minimum and max recommended pressure. These bikes may be called entry level but I think they're more mid range. I've owned an entry level and a pro level and this bike is like in between. Entry levels do not come with carbon fiber seatpost and headset.

The bike is made of aluminum but I'm satisfied with that. It still goes super fast and it's very responsive =]

  • @Axerfly Hey thanks for the input I bought my CAAD 9 and I absolutely love it! Then next thing im looking to buy for it are some Shoes and Pedals, im in between SIDIS and GIROS and some KEO Look pedals which were recommended to me by the shop I made my purchase from, not sure if there are any others i should be taking into consideration but if u have any more suggestions I would really appreciate it! Thanks again for the feed back!

  • @Ebagramirez On my Cannondale I just used platforms with cages (nothing special) because I use that bike for work so I wanna have my regular shoes. On my other road bike, I have carbon road pedals. On a CAAD9 I would say the KEOs would look nice. I'm not a fan of the wide base but I also haven't tried it. I think that isn't as useful as it is more for marketing. Regular base does it for me and it's a bit less weight. Keep the tension tight but not TOO tight and you'll have easy entry!

The shoes are more for style than performance IMO.

In case you haven't heard, the wheels are the biggest upgrade you can make on a bike. But that's up to you, it's called a beginner bike probably because it has a triple crank set (heavier than just two and more gears obviously.)

Don't forget to raise your seat post as your legs become stronger! Oh and I put some white tires on my CAAD 9 (don't know what color yours is) but it makes the bike look WAY COOLER. Enjoy and be safe.
