i have a civic 1997 b16a2 , the only think that i dislike are my tail lights the orange color , how can i make them red with white without deliver them from ebay???
@corizzy1 Great, got the headers and exhaust on. Just got modifications done to the exhaust so it sits right, so no more rattling from heat shield. I just need to make a bracket for my CAI because it rattles against the engine bay. And as for the motor I haven't looked for one yet, im waiting until I get the money to do that because if I find one now it may not be their when I do get it. I wanna turbo it though I just need to know what main pieces are best to upgrade so boost is easier the motor
@NickEdits well, if you're planning on boosting a single cam, you'll end up wasting a lot of money(unless you have a lot) if you want to get good power. The same money you use on rebuilding and turboing a single cam, you could spend a little bit more with a DOHC and make away more power from it.
But, if you're thinking of just boosting the single, if you want to stay safe with it and run mid to high boost, best thing to do is get aftermarket pistons, rods, valves, springs, get it sleeved, etc.
@corizzy1 Yeah I know, that was my plan, get the DOHC.. sell my single cam for more money than put all of that plus more into the internal upgrades of that new motor.
@ImportDrift Thanks dude, And I actually got a lot more done to it since then. I got my headers, full n1 exhaust, and CAI now. A few more visual things, got my fogs installed. And nope, no spacers. I get my license in September so I will have more driving videos up then, but in the mean time I may make a update vid

@NickEdits are you lowering springs adjustables? if they are then you should leave the front down and raise the back up to its stock, you will not regret it, it will make it look so mean! and you should get a spoiler just a small one though.

@NickEdits oh im not a huge fan of body kits, i just get a front lip and then lower it thats all it really needs. I love scraping its such a good feeling haha mine was only 2 inches dumped i just ordered lowering springs for me new car, i order a bunch of shit for it like: rims, grill, lip, shocker stickers and lowering springs so when i got it all on the car ill make a new video btw my new cars a 2001 Civic Coupe ill have a pic as my avatar of how it looks now

@120718dr - Thanks man, I got OEM style fogs in yellow. I just don't know how to wire them or they would be in.. But yeah I was thinking about the Si spoiler but I kind of like the look w/o it a little more, same with the tail lights. Also, my JDM weighted shift knob and JDM shift boot got delivered at my other house. I'll probably make an unboxing and install video later on which will be today just after I wake up lol. @NickEdits Get the engine. preferably b18c. Rebuild the internals with upgraded cams, valves, pistons, etc. Get it retuned and dyno'd, if you're not happy with the numbers, turbo it.

@NickEdits B18c comes out of a teg GSR, it has vtec on both exhaust and intake cams. Unless you go with a b18b or b18a, which are non-vtec, and you get a vtec head.
you can still turbo without upgraded internals, but you're more prone to blowing the motor, unless you run low boost and not treat it like shit. it'll last. but upgraded internals is a better route to go, then you'll have stronger pistons and such.
@corizzy1 I'll just go ahead with the swap then, build the motor and look into turbo in the future. What's the path on the motor internals I should go with on upgrading? The b18c runs at about 1.3k right?
@NickEdits For a full drop in, usually around $2k, depending on where you get it from. If you find a local seller, it should be less than that.
Internals, anything from Eagle to JE to CP, for pistons&valves & such, depending on the budget. if you're turboing in the future, get low compression pistons. Crower, Skunk2, and COMP make for good cams. Basically it's whatever you can afford for good quality. Lastly, make sure you get sleeves, blackguards are good, but can do more harm than good.

Wouldn't recommend raising the back and lowering the front.. You drive a FWD car.
