@stealth22a I live on Edmontons southside and I feel so safe here. I lived in Oliver just west of dowtown core and felt safe there too. And this is all inspite of the crimes here in Edmonton. I guess I am just lucky.
i don't mind edmonton. i'm from houston, tx and i visit edmonton about once every few years because my dads family resides in edmonton. sure it has it's ghettos but what major cities doesn't? i'm going to MSU in e. lansing about an hour drive from detroit and there are times where i have to drive to the city to get some stuff and to tell you the truth i'd rather live in edmonton than in detroit. if i ever move to canada, edmonton is on my 1st choice city to live in.
oh and when you say vancouver is worse than edmonton thats bull shit van is not worse its when you take van surry delta burnabey richmond and all them places combine them as one big statistic that you find a shit hole but just cause of east hastings dont make the whole place a dive i been there it is gheto but the people are good the junkies are more honest over there you know why its cause vans drug of choice is herion and edmontons drug is crack So you tell me what better Nodders or flailers
all they gotta do is stand outside of the pig headquarters and ask shit every time i walk by the york and the cop HQ i got heads asking if i want food not to mention the buildings are all old and rundown the place sticks like shit from start to finish and dont forget about all them oil refineries edmonton fucking sucks and it is rated the worst city for crime per capita in all of canada face it its a shithole and its not getting any better
you guys are all fucking idiots my buddie got his door kicked in and 4 somolians sliced him up with machettes my bro just got jumped by for other guys beat down and sprayed with bear mace ive got robbed by knife point for my bus fare fuck just a month ago a girl asked some guy at the lrt station for a smoke and he pulled out a gun and shot her in the face this city has the highest number of murders per capita in all of canada this city is so fucked if someone wants to get some crack or heroin
There is areas in Edmonton that are, "s**tholes", like this area, but any large city has its bad area's, you cant judge a city just because of these kinds of areas. Might as well call toronto, calgary, or any other large canadian city hell compared to this area.
