just watched the video and i have just 1 question i use a starcom1 advance intercom will it plug straight in to the intercom ? ...

i got a quick question mate, does the tom tom talk to you in your helmet like the car ones do "at the end of the road turn right" because i am a new rider and im not confident enough to be always looking down at the screen? cheers

@dellboyful Yes it has the instructions in a timely manner before each turn, Also worth mentioning is that you can customize the voice, dowloading them off the internet for free too, all instructions included, I recommend Naughty Natalie ;o)

im sure you can get cameras with mounts for your helmet and tank if you search the web you might have more luck or maybe go to bike shop but im not sure what the price is

quick question is the tom tom water prof?

@wifi666 apparently it was tested using a jet of water, I have never had a problem in all weathers all year around.

Can you make the speed riding full screen, my Sprints speedo is quite hard to read and that would be it's main use if I got one. I know my way around my local area for the most part. :)

nice mate I am in need of a sat nav myself, got the tom tom software for my iphone. How secure is the savnav does it sit still over bumps in the road?

I have the same bike btw, but in blue =]

Thanks for the review. I was trying to find one online and it seems not that many have done a review. Really helped in deciding whether to go for the Garmin or TomTom Rider 2nd Ed. I might have to go for the TomTom, you ought to be getting commission from the company for promoting their products :)

yes the earpiece is on a wire that tapes inside your helmet. apologies for not showing this

I enjoyed your review , its good that its working out for you, im a bit like , i will get one in six months and never jump in, although i dont have a problem with just using google maps, as i have my laptop and 3g where ever i go so .

If you want a good camera although it is quite a fair chunk of change, Sven, youtube username svengalie has a nice camera set up in his latest videos that looks good and produces good quality so check that out. continues........

and another user on here that uses a camera is youtube username U48 he tells you how he mounts it in his videos,

but sven says that putting a camera in your helmet does break some law, so i would be warey about doing that
