I cant beleive Bill Cherry won i think this is my opinion remember hed make a good manequin at like a thrift store dont anyone get mad bc to each is own but he just looks like wax and i dont agree with the results

Donny Edwards was the best in my opinion. Bill Cherry was 2nd best, again in my opinion, but he won and I'm not a judge. Still, good talent on the stage, but I didn't think some of the guys were even close. Again, just my opinion.

But now that we’re naming ETA's, the guy at about 0:30, is Ted Torres, who I'm friends with on here, his from Florida, so I’ve named him the Sunshine Boy. At 0 :44, is Justin Shandor, who won this year's completion, 45, with is crutch facing you, lol, and lying almost on the ground is Canadian, is Stephen Kabakos. And at 0:48 is my favorite, Leo Days, who I also have a crush on, but his taken.

You know being an avid fan of Elvis since 1970 I can sympathize with the coments below...

It seems that all competitions there are many Elvis tribute artist and impersonators that

sound like elvis only 65 to 70 percent....Many can move like him and maybe dress like him..but the rarity and what bugs is that most winners do not sound like Elvis..there is the deep voice and the rock grain at times. and the sweet smooth voice but getting them to put these qualities together ..never....good try.

I am watching this but none of them look like Elvis or Sounds like him or dance like him.....I have heard in you tube people who sounds really like Elvis and some look like him also...BUT....good job guys for trying and be the best we have here.

Maybe if the performance comes across as too forced, it comes off flat. I just started singing some of Elvis' stuff (channel plug, lol) and I definitely feel myself walking the line on how much of my natural voice to use, vs trying to sound more like Elvis.

Takes more work than I thought, it is almost like an acting job I would presume.

I go to Memphis every August and have seen all of the contest since they started three years ago.  The talent has improved each year but I was amazed at how much they had improved this year! I sure wouldn't want to have been in the judges shoes! It had to be a difficult choice to make but I think they hit the nail on the head. I felt their choices were right on the mark. Can't wait for next year! Congrats to all of the guys who competed!

As I understand, the ETA's do not get to choose..EPE selects the songs for them in the finals...so even if Donny wanted to do 50's, EPE chose a jumpsuit song so that is what he had to do.

I am sure Elvis would have loved these guys...they all gave a really great and respectful impersonation of our beautiful man!

I had the chance to see Donny Edwards perform at The State Theartre in Sydney Australia last year and he was brilliant with his impersonations of a younger style Elvis!

I work at the Casino and of the ones that we had...he was the best. But hey...how can anyone measure up to The Elvis.....We had quite a crowd at the casino for our event!

We have a regular Elvis impersonator that performs 2 nights a week at our casino...Mike Davis.
