Nobody cares, they have a 220 million dollar payroll, and their championships mean nothing. Try to tell me Yankees of 2009 was more memorable than the Redsox of 2004, nobody even remembers the yanks of 2009 because they don't matter. Good periods in yankee history don't matter because there are ONLY good times. Its real easy being a yankee fan, some people like.....

The 2004 and 2007 Red Sox won the post season and World Series n a far more spectacular way then the 2009 Yankees. Thererefore the 2004 Red Sox and the 2007 Red Sox were better then the 2009 Yankees.

Its not hard being a yankee fan, go be a cub or pirate fan then you have something to brag about or atleast a chance at happiness if they win something. The Red Sox and especially their fans still suck. They have to be the only team in the history of the game to actually use 2 wins as a pardon for 86 years of failure and then take the extra step to call themselves the best team ever. The Red Sox "nation" is alive and well with losers, that's for sure.

Even though I'm not a red sox fan, I was pretty relieved when they won the world series. Because now I don't have to listen to any more whiny Boston fans complaining about how there is a curse on their team. Here's a theory for you Boston: maybe there was no curse. Maybe it's just possible to suck for a really long time.

I was readign that the Red Sox team had a CURSE on them for 86 years and from 1918 until 2004 the curse somehow was by a miraculously uplifted, I heard their coach heard of mrpastor77 before youtube existed and mrpastor77 prayed a prayer over the team which broke the curse of what the call the Bambino curse. They say mrpastor77 was the only one who knew HOW to break curses.

Ellsbury was gone all season, Pedrioa gone half the season, Youk out the last 2 months, Cameron out all year...pitching staff injured all year. For the Red Sox to do as well as they did with the amount of injuries they had was unbelievable.
