wow this is like quake 2 on steriods with the water and reflections, btw would this run on a radeon 9250 with 2gig ram and pentium 4 or would i need to get cube 1?
I'm a fan of this cube principle for making maps, and cubes within cubes (8x8,16x16, 32x32). Imagine a huge spaceship with (generated) corridors/rooms that go for miles, possible using cube-metric system.
It has some nice outdoor rendering too, and it isnt for high end machines i run it on a 1.8 ghz with 512 ram... The engine is missing some pretty basic features though, like ducking..

Looks more like a Quake RIP. Except it let's you build your own games. Take FF: Advent Children for example.

With some work, Sauerbraten Engine could easily rival the Quake 3 Engine and possibly even the Doom 3 engine... Be afraid Carmack, be very afraid!

cube 1 was good because it ran well on low end machines, but had decent graphics. cube 2 requires a high end machine... that is why it is dead.
