you still need to wait at least a month before putting the fishes in the tank. put sand, rocks, plants, they help eliminate nitrous acid(hno²). for tropical fishes, 3 months needed before installing to their new habitat(fish tank)...
I saw a TV program tonight on setting up a sea water aquarium and they said it takes 6 weeks to get the water ready what if one was to use fresh sea water can this be done to shorten the time it takes to get the tank ready.
I would have gone there but I went to Rio Safari instead. Just looked better. In rio safari i touched a crocodile...yay!

after a month, it is important that you verify the nitrite level before you put your fishes in the tank.
