@lahori004 The Nissan GTR is an extremely well designed and engineered car. However, it is dominated by clever engineering and electronics which removes the driver from the equation. In my opinion I would be initially impressed but ultimately bored by a car that needs relatively little skill. The car is easy to to do an ss 1/4 mile in. Grandma could literally do those times. It's so easy that it would put me to sleep and I would crash. What's clever about driving this car quick on the street?

There are no stock Nissans that will beat a Veyron in acceleration or top end. There are a few street legal, highly modded Nissan Skylines that have gone under 9 seconds for the 1/4 mile. I think you are mixing fast and quick. Fast is top speed and quick is acceleration measured as time over fixed distance, that is, lap time or 1/4 mile time.

All other states have a max of 110 kph on most freeways & rural highways. There are 100s of speed & redlight cameras in Australia. Victoria is the worst, 3 kph over and get fined. No point having a really fast car or bike. Remote areas, except for Nullabor, are not policed heavily but wildlife can be problem, especially Kangaroos.

@droceretik its not a kit, it was assembled in Germany and put on a boat, its officially a "business asset" and the petrol is a "business expense" so I didn't have to fork out from my own pocket for it really. I also have a Jap spec Subaru Legacy (liberty in Australia) that's been modded to produce 320 hp which my wife mostly drives, it does corners a lot better than the Panamera. I would have liked a 911 but its too impractical to justify :(

No skill required with traction and launch control plus sports mode and semi auto/auto transmission . Any driver with little more than a few months experience could do those times and speeds. Not rocket science nor requiring any sophisticated technique. Wouldn't it get boring after 20 runs and 10 litres of fuel? Try a manual sports sedan on a racing circuit then see how skillful you look. I wouldn't like to buy your car second hand as it would be fucked from being thrashed over & over.

However, IMO, the car lacks the stuff like driver involvement. It's 90% car and 10% driver. It would paper over the cracks in most drivers skills. Sometime the racing is very exciting and intereting. Other times it's a bit of a flop and I don't enjoy. I still attend despite the risk of me not enjoying the racing. It's the same as YouTube videos. When I enjoy I write good comments when I don't then I may write negative. I don't have crystal ball.
