I'm not sure how it was precisely, but it was like that you can put your phone-number and then hotmail sends u a code to that numuber and with that code u can re-activate your account... When I had the problem Microsoft sent me a message to another mail and asked me some questions about my hacked account to verify that it was mine. Some days later they gave me another message with a link to reset my password and so that's how I recovered my account.

My recommendation: Do not use one email account for all your online services like Xbox Live and PSN. Create a new account and ONLY to use it for your Xbox Live gamertag, do not show your new email to anyone.

Phil, I suggest you to do the same, go to windowslivehelp, then select Hotmail and then the option "Account Compromise - Unauthorized Account Access", the best way to recover your account is to reset your password, the option will be right there.

Phil the 3SO input lag issue has proven to be false. A guy from SRK properly tested it, and 360/PS3 both have 4 frames of input lag, which is what was present on the actual arcade unit.
