It's a shell game. They want us so panicked we don't see the scam they're pulling off with the carbon credits. We got 17 1/2" at the end of March/07. Our spring was really cold this year. Didn't turn the furnace off til the middle of June (this is Iowa btw).

Evaporation increases when the surface temperature of the ocean rises and warmer air can hold more moisture. When this soggier-than-normal air moves over land, it results in storms wetter and more intense than those experienced in the past.
Funny vid! Any one who knows what causes extreme weather knows that it's the extreme gradient between the equator and the poles (i/o when warm and cold collide). A generally warmer earth would reduce the threat of severe weather events period! Anyone who tells you otherwise is flat out lying through their teeth or just plain ignorant.
If I am not completly wrong, there are things that cool down the higher atmosphere (if I am not completly wrong this sulfate aerosols too). But while this happens the other gases (co2 etc.) will warmth the lower atmosphere.
What you must never forget is the slow reaction of the climate, you cannot expect a big flood or something in the next 50 years. All those scary scenarios with floods etc. within the next years are not true. But if we continue like that they will come true.
if you had ever read a book about climate changing, you would know that your video is crap, because the climate change does not only cause global warming, it also increases the possibility of extreme weahter phenomenons (like hurricans, floods etc.)

While america had a strong winter, switzerland (for example) had one of the warmest winter ever.

I am very interested what you say about the fact, that switzerland had one of the warmest winter ever. According to your logic this is a proof for the existence of global warming. Which is wrong because you cannot assing a specific weather phenomenon to global warming.
I admit to being somewhat skeptical because I can remember something you are probably too young to know. In 1975, the Chicken Littles and self-perpetuating fund seeking government agencies were crying out about the impending Ice Age and severe reduction in food production it would cause throughout the world. Of course, humans (primarily we pesky Americans) were the chief culprits then as well.
The looming Ice Age of 30 years ago was supposedly due to our overuse of Sulfate Aerosols. Perhaps we should be thanked for slowing the Global Warming trend -- otherwise, it might be REALLY hot now. If it gets even hotter next winter in Switzerland, let me know. But I wager it will revert to colder winters like those of the past. Climate fluctuations happen.
