This mod is currently in the state of super epic complete polish, and ever since 2009, they've been redoing large sections of the game to make it way cooler than it was. Counter-Strike: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, and other Source games will work just as fine. It is using the Source Engine, which Half-Life 2, and the other Source games were made in. That doesn't mean you must own Half-Life 2. I urge to think before you post something that you expect a lot of people to read.
