how do u teach ur horse to slide thru the poles idk maybe that would make my runs faster and a person in my county got 9th in jumping figure 8 that year.

@barrelracelover I just taught her how to do sliding stops like a reining horse and then incorporated the turn at the end. It was pretty simple. It definately shaves time off your runs as we all know every second counts!

you're keyhole is interesting! we run here with just 4 poles, or even 4 barrels.

Ya, and she is only 14.1 hands tall. She beat almost every quarter horse we came across no matter what their size.
