  • nicky van excellenty! ^_^

  • was this recorded with a blender?

  • By no means was he the best Laker PG of all time, but LA still loved Nick The Quick Van Exellent

  • love Quick but the quality of the video is too crappy to watch

  • Wow, even this video is quick.

  • cant see shit

  • It wasn't that he lacked talent. Or that he had a bad attitude. He was unlucky. If he was given a chance to play in serious championship contending team he could've gotten his ring.

  • Where is this nigga now?

  • Because "Van" names are Norwegian, I sing this to the tune of the Norwegian National Anthem: "His name's Nick the Quick Van Exel, fa la la la la la la...He plays like a double axel, fa la la la la la la!"

  • fun player to watch, but his efficiency was atrocious...never should have been taking as many shots as he did

  • @quick96 apparently you don't know who Earvin "Magic" Johnson is... I don't care if you said "for me"... There's no question Magic Johnson was better

  • @quick96 apparently you don't know who Earvin "Magic" Johnson is... I don't care if you said "for me"... There's no question Magic Johnson was better

  • even tho he retired after wat he did in my city for us he still my favorite player! Terry you second

  • Nick was too good. Nobody now can meet his play (at PG).

    Deron is not far, though

  • MISS HIM IN DENVER!!!

  • alot of people dont realize how good he was.....he can shoot and be on fire like jordan....he can make really good passes...he was quick....he made buzzer beaters......he was good in the playoffs.......he was consistent then .....

  • offensively great but defensively he was an issue....

  • he waz good wit da Mavs and da Lakers he a short lil dude but he'll kill ya everytime

  • one of the most underated basketball players in lakers history and nba history......this guy was consistent.....didnt sleep in the playoffs.......could be on fire like jordan......and made great passes.....and then.....was also very quick. . . . . . . .

  • 666

  • quality sucks!!!

  • BLAZE IT

  • lol i know, i typed it wrong but i dont care its the internet so i dnt c y it matters...

  • i stopped watching right away cuz of da quality

  • me 2

  • Anyone who likes Nick Van Exel or naked women should check out my friend nonplayerzealot4's channel.

  • minnesota da soda missed his wis!

  • a great player

  • real shit nick is my fav. point guard of all time

especially when he was with my lakers!!!

  • Hell yeah Nick the Quick was my all time fav PG especially with the Laker show.

  • @sayjaibao011 No doubt! Nick the Quick Van Exel best Lakers point guard of all time! (for me)

  • @sayjaibao011 lakeshow..thanks

  • @MahhDudee .......well said, one of my favs of all-time too

  • loved him with the Mavs, good memories :)

  • wade is right handed tho

  • van exel was more like jason terry. he was my fav player when he was a laker, but Wade is a much better player. better at getting to the rim, more physical, better defender, rebounder. They both play with attitude, though.

  • He was a great PG but way too inconsistent!!!

  • Nick was the man! Wished La kept him because he and Fisher would have been the best pg combo for the Lakers both Lefties and both were sick from the land of 3

  • yee i wanna know about van exel reeboks from 97-98 season ...blue and white......help!

  • the behind the back pass at 1:54 always gets me in this video.. he was so sick!

  • The Lakers should have kept him

  • yeah they really should have

  • i used to hope the backcourt would be nick and kobe, but that wasn't meant to happen

  • Nick Van Exel e bil dob1r point guard.Jalko 4e karierata mu ot 13 profesionalni sezona e zav1r6ila ve4e 8-)

  • did he ever get a ring with the Spurs?

  • no he was there for 2005-2006 season and stopped his career...the spurs won in 2004-2005 and 2006-2007...

  • nick was a better playmaker. Good assist to TO ratio

  • no doubt. pretty low shooting percentage with a very high entertainment value...

  • jason terry aint even close to Van Exel

  • jason terry reminds me alot of nick van exel

  • Holy crap, you're right: that's a remarkable comparison. Both of them are streaky scorers who can get hot quickly, both have great three-point shots, both about the same height coming off the bench to play the 1 and 2 positions (well, Terry has recently). Van Exel's probably got better handles and Jet's probably a better defender. But they are very similar (they even sort of look the same in a Mavs uniform).

  • they both great but terry is better

  • @krazycdawg Terry not even close.... Nick the Quick number 1 no doubt!

  • the original gansta baller...all hail nick the quick

  • and rod strickland

  • the underappreciated point guards

Sam Cassell, Nick Van Exel, mookie blaylock, bj armstrong, and jameer nelson. those are the point guards who never really got appreciated for how good they played

  • You have to add Mark Price and Kevin Johnson to the list of most underrated point guards although Van Exel was one of the best in between game guards he was unguardable 10-15 feet away from the basket. I also loved the fact that he shot free throws damn near at the top of the key, lol.

  • he from the town i grew up in

Kenosha WI he went to St. Joes

i lived about 30 yards south of his high school

  • dude was still a good player even in his 30s.

  • Nick the Quick Van Exel...

Reason why I still ball today...

  • one of my favorites

nick the quick was definetly the man

  • he really had the skills for a great point guard, but he was too wild, hot tempered and did not really care about what the coach says

  • ballin

  • nick was a good pg but damn he was the most laid back, relaxed, cool point gaurd ever ...jason terry, rafer alston, chauncy billups all yall aint got nothin on nick

  • sickest point guard.

lakers gonna take it in 08'

nick kobe eddie ceballos shaq horry

  • my favorite baller of all time hands down.

  • I miss his performance in Dallas!

  • I agree, in that Dallas playoff series, Van Exel was on fire. Wow.
