well on FRAPS there's a setting on while recording while full screen or custom resolution FRAPS eats lots of HDD space but it records diffidently the same quality in your gameplay also depend on game setting if you manage to run a game on max with 30fps then fraps well take 10-15fps from it while recording.. so far of using of FRAPS, GameCam is also good cause less fps and ZD soft
