I'm going to point out that Nat'l Guard units were called up, which is only done in wartime. The draft was being enforced & men were being sent to prison for evading--all done in wartime. I am outspoken against the war in Iraq and Bush foreign policy, but I stand behind and am grateful for the young men and women in the United States military, and I love my country. Let me try again. Bill Clinton was never drafted, he was not hiding in England, he was there as a student at Oxford. He got there because he was a Rhodes scholar. As for Barney Frank, I believe it was either knee or hip problems from high school football injuries. As for Robert Byrd, I never liked him.
