The reason Vegeta is naked is because he wanted to convey a message - that Goku is the last surviving Saiyan, that he has the power to kill Frieza even though he doesn't know it yet, and by being naked while talking to Goku, he is vulnerable and honest in his speech. What Vegeta said is something that HAD to be said as it motivated Goku in his time of need, and the way he did it makes the message that much more powerful. There is nothing gay about this whole scene, and you know it.
