  • He s 63 man his voice is burned out from the all the ashows he does. He is great!! KEEP on Rockin

  • Brian Johnson was a terrible replacement for Bon Scott. There were many better options with much better voices.

  • great sound!!!

  • Cliff's using a chord, why?

  • I'm pretty sure the audio was pro recorded then sync'd with the video.

  • Pretty good sound and video from a store bought cam.

  • it was in this concert the incident of angus and the beer??

  • @thebeatles95 Yup sure was man. I was pretty close when i saw that as well.

  • You know, I don't care if I get thumbs down for saying this but Brian WAS at his lowest during SUL. His voice was completely mono and he couldn't sing the high notes properly. He still rocked but he was at his lowest.

Guess why he took a break for 8 years.....to recover! Now he's back sounding like he did in the 90's! I'm going to see them in two weeks and can't wait!!

    AC/DC rocks!

  • What a cool guitar lick!!!

  • SO GREAT!!!!

  • AC/DC, still the best band on the planet even after all these years.

  • Awesome song by the worlds BEST ROCK BAND!

  • ACDC IS MY GOD

  • i was at that concert and i never seen them play that song! anyway there is no way they are braking up!!! ac/dc will die

  • That is Phill

  • Whatever happened to Phill Rudd anyways? He was my favirote drummer for AC/DC.

  • Phil left the band (he was NOT fired contrary to rumour) in 1983 because of a combination of Bon's death and the endless touring AC/DC did. He was replaced by Simon Wright from 1983-1989, and he in turn was replaced by Chris Slade from 1989-1994, at which point Phil returned for the albums Ballbreaker and Stiff Upper Lip, and he's with them to this day.

  • great!!!

  • Phil Rudd WAS fired because of something that happened in Malcolm Young's immidiate family and during the first sessions for the "Flick Of The Switch" album they clashed heavily over the incident and Malcolm bought Phil a plane ticket back to Australia for the next night and told him he never wanted to see his sorry ass again. And yes he was burned out from touring all the time and he also had a drug problem that needed to be taken care of.

  • and i read that he was halutionating about having strangers in his room

  • Yeah that too, I kind of left out that detail thanks! I should've remebered it, I have a book that says that.

  • Yeah, I have that book too. I think Phil was the one that took Bon's death the worst and they fired him for his sake to let him get himself bact together again. Malcolm nearly went the same way too with drink problems in the late 80s and had to stop for a bit but not for anywhere near as long.

  • Yep and his nephew Stevie filled in for him. I think they always knew that Phil would be back. While Mal was recovering, he went to see the band play in L.A and that's when he realized that Chris Slade as good of a drummer as he was, had to go.

  • actually Angus Young is quoted (i dont remember where haha) saying Chris Slade was a better musician then all of them, he just didn't have the AC/DC feel that Rudd did. (now i don't know if Mr. Young was just politic-ing or if he really meant it) but I'm still glad they have Phil back. Now.. if they'd get off their asses and tour one more time before I die!!

  • lol it's the other way around for me, I want to see them before they die! I'm still young, but rock 'n' roll is forever!

  • im only 18 so I feel ya

  • The truth about Phil's departure is that he and Mal were drunk, and got in a fight, so Mal packed Phil's bags and told him to go home the next morning.

  • yup, thats how it went

  • Don't buy it. Produce the quote.

  • thats how phil was fired. i dont remember where i read/saw the interview about slade but its not like im gonna fuckin lie. i dont get off on lying on youtube. its not my thing. sorry i couldnt produce the quote tho.

  • I think Phil was indeed fired. Ex tour manager Ian Jeffrey explained that he had a fight with one of the band after getting a relative (of the band) pregnant. As Highland45 said, he was also doing too much drugs and halucinating, and apparently felt the band had lost its closeness after Bon's death (seems a bit unfair but then they were all young back then).

  • what the fuck??? Phil Rudd had a fight with malcolm because Phil was doing drugs at the time and Phil was stuffing up and doing crazy shit.

  • Yes, but according to Ian Jeffrey, the actual reason for the sacking was the fight, which happened when a member of the band confronted Phil over the above incident. The drugs thing was going on as well, and the implication is Phil's behaviour had become all-round problematic.

  • phil got one of mal's reletives

  • Phil didn't impregnate anyone. He was the most experimental with drugs, but he never used Hallucenogens. Weed was the worst Phil ever did. the rest of the boys were drinkers and smokers, but that's all. They were pretty straight edge for a 70's band.

All it was was a drunken fight. If Phil impregnated someone, they wouldn't have let him back in again in '95.

  • How can they release a new album in early 2008? Didn't they break up in late 2005?

  • NO WAY THEY NEVER BROKE UP!!!

  • i were gonna after bon died until they found brian

  • haha broke up thats funny ac/dc will die before they break up

  • Hell no. AC/DC will last forever. I heard sometime early next year, they will have a new album. Or it might be this DVD that contains all their rare live songs. Either one, I'm getting it!

  • We are getting both the dvd and the album.

  • Hiatus = Temporary break up

  • this is the best song i like

  • theyre releasing an album early 2008

  • AC/DC kicks ass!

they're the first band that i like all their songs woot go AC/DC

  • I cant believe Brian Johnson still sounds this good. Hes gonna be 60 next year, so he was 53 or 54 when he sang this. THEY NEED TO RELEASE A NEW ALBUM SOON

  • hes in his 50s and brian quit smoking and he sound awsome

  • Come on guys, let's get another album out there.
