I have seen at least 10 pathetic videos like this one with people coming up with the stupidest reasoning. There was a video were a guy was comparing them by what color the cursor is!!! This is stupid, give up! PC's are not going to loose to Macs any time soon, so until then, get a life and argue about something else!!

OS X doesn't because then you can install it on one or more APPLE computers

Actually, you're right.

Microsoft needs serial numbers because they release the OEM's to the manufacturers (Toshiba, Dell, HP, etc.), and the fact that there is a very large piracy problem when it comes to Windows, probably because of widespread use..

Apple doesn't have this problem simply because they make the software and the hardware together..and their licensing is so flimsy an individual OEM can be installed on an infinite number of Apple machines.

But to each their own, I guess.

Haha I find myself doing the same box tests as you're doing Danny, and you have to give Microsoft credit for the nice box design anyway...

But I agree once SP1 for Vista comes out it will be better for all Windows users, especially since the third party vendors haven't ironed out EVERY kink from their programs.

At least with Leopard I didn't have to buy seperate licenses for the two Macs I'm using the OS on. No Family Pack for me, thank you very much.

Your VIsta is NOT disabled. All you have to do is ring the free-phone telephone number for your country displayed on the screen and you'll be given the new activation code plus you'll be able to reinstall it another 2 or 3 times without having to ring anyone.

XP was exactly the same.
