  • Jackie is already a national treasure!!

  • American anthem is the most difficult to sing... this is amazing.

  • Jackie, thank you for that gift. I am a U.S. Marine, and it is not an easy thing to do, but you brought tears to my eyes when you sang the National Anthem.

  • do you hear the assholes in the background chanting...they should have their asses kicked...but its a Pa fan what do u expect

  • She is an amazing talent that will only get better with time, practice and clean living, let's hope! A lot of folks don't like the anthem sung this slowly, myself included, but that says nothing about her vocal quality. She is tone perfect and pitch perfect, both at once. She hits the high note on "free" like Steve Tyler did, and they each nail it in their own way, the leather-throated rock ruffian in his 60s and the 12-yr-old angel of purity from another galaxy. It's a HARD song to sing, folks.

  • fabulous, she is so nice to hear.

  • I can tell that someday, she is going to be the youngest person ever to win a grammy.

  • Thanks to this lil girl all i can say is AMERICA

  • And a capella at that!

  • I notice, when the Americans have their anthem been sung, they are so in to it, its sung with heart and soul, unlike other Countries, hurry up and get it over with. Let the ball game begin. So to you Americans good on you.

  • russelsaunders I believe you do having been there and seen the flags flying when the Queen was in residence [Edinburgh Holyrood Palace]

  • Its good that she didn't forget the lyrics..

  • Talking about hitting the high note!

  • As much as I appreciate these vids fo Jackie I wish they would stay on the applause a little longer. It is the icing on the cake & I love watching people's reaction to this young talent!

  • how AMAZING she is for giving my grandma cry and she doesnt even understand english ahhah :D great job god has givin you great talent

  • @SerinehsMusic How beautiful! That's a great comment. I think that pure angels such as her touch your soul. It really transcends language.

  • Singing at PNC Ball Park

  • WOW thats what i call a star

  • goosebumps!

  • Pirates!! lol I recognize the field! :D (from Pittsburgh)

    Love her voice...

  • I adore this girl. She sings purrrrfectly. Hope she stays this way & doesn't get all crazy. LOL

  • I am speechless ! What talented girl! What a strong, beautiful voice coming from a 9 years old girl! She is a super star!!

  • She is perfect.

  • My husband and I have not long returned from the USA and yes they are VERY patriotic ... in nearly every home there is an American flag flying with great pride... It opened our eyes not only to that but how hospitable they are and friendly.... well in the states we were in they were... we had just the most wonderful time there and hubby would live there in a heart beat !!.

  • @Jentheledge100 I would like to thank you for your kind words about my country. I wish everyone in the world could just spend a month in our country and get to meet and know the American people one to one. 99% of Americans are friendly and caring people. I am sure you agree that no country should be judged by it's politicians or by some YouTube posts. Politicians are their own breed. Politico Sapiens maybe ? Again I thank you and come back soon.

  • @Jentheledge100 Thanks Jen! Aussies are great people.

  • @Jentheledge100 Take good care of baby kangaroos!!! For the Love of Beer United We Stand. Jackie is a different (divine) story. We love her so much.

  • @Jentheledge100

Thank you for your kind words. It's funny, my wife would die to visit Australia, and the understanding by many here is that Aussies are incredibly friendly as well! It is getting so tiring to hear about how everyone in the world hates America. There are many different types here, but I do feel that most of us are indeed patriotic and proud of our country, even if we are not perfect. Thank you once again.

  • She should sing at the super bowl

  • Is there a version recorded in studio? The distortions are really bad on this video.

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • @gnt80s :whoever you are, you're a class A idiot

  • incredible!!! there is no words great enough to say how great Jackie is!!!

  • No silly vocal gymnastics, she sung it the way it's suppose to be sung......OUTSTANDING!

  • Beautiful, the way she sings is unbelievable, is like an angel!!!

  • Deffo super bowl,, will beat this years one,,lolx

  • super

  • unglaublich

  • God has truly touched this young lady.

  • Pride in the flag should never be fragged.

  • That brought a tear to my eye and im Irish!

  • Well, she is one of the few singers who can always remember the words to any song that she is performing. Some of the older singers should take lessons from her.

  • who walks off at the start?

  • jackie is amazing!

  • She is unbelievable!!

  • They won that game right? They did get a blessing... ;)

  • Thank you so much Jackie for singing this properly. I hate too many embellishments to this song.

  • o my god shes amazing

  • YHU SING RLLY GUUD.

  • This little girl is both an angel and national treasure.

  • gr8 job jackie!! she wuz awesome!

  • At about the two minute mark the crowd is about as quiet as I have ever heard one at a baseball game...They know...WOW

  • awesomely awesome i gove you two thumbs up!!!!! :D

  • THIS is the way our anthem should be sung.....no over the top yelling and screeching like so many sing it.....Sing it AS WRITTEN, not "syled" until it becomes almost unrecognizable. BRAVO JACKIE

  • @SpeedyNeutrino43 I know. I hate it when other people do that!

  • @SpeedyNeutrino43 Yes! Yes! Yes! Singing the national anthem shouldn't be about the singer as much as it should be about the words, the meaning, the country. When it's sung badly I fault the person (or committee) that chose the singer.

  • Congress should pass a law that she be required to sing our National Anthem at every major event!!! Sporting, or otherwise. She sings it as it should be sung without putting a spin on it as so many others have done. It makes you feel proud just listening to her sing it.

  • whoever keeps hitting the dislike button on her videos must have bit down hard on their tongue cause you have no taste in good singing or talent

  • @hatshepsutiv As we all know only stupid idiots who were not taught properly would do that. She IS and ANGEL! in my book!

  • @algerfrenchie precisely

  • PART 4 - from Emily Post Etiquette:

If you are on the way to your seat at a sports event, or in any public place, and the first strains of the anthem are heard, stop where you are and stand at attention until the end. Don't talk, chew gum, eat, or smoke during the singing of the anthem.

  • PART 3 - from Emily Post Etiquette:

Everyone, even very young children, should rise, remain standing, and salute by placing the right hand over the heart during the playing of The Star-Spangled Banner—first note to last. The anthem isn't easy to sing, and you need not do so if you don't have the necessary range. But you must stand quietly until "O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave" has rung out and the music ends.

  • PART 2 - from Emily Post Etiquette:

Men should remove their hats, and women any sports caps. When in uniform, military personnel, firefighters, and law enforcement officers give a military salute. Veterans and service personnel out of uniform may give the military salute or place the right hand over the heart.

  • PART 1 - from Emily Post Etiquette:

The Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem

In 2007, the U.S. Congress addressed etiquette for the pledge of allegiance and the national anthem in 36 USC 301. When saying the pledge of allegiance, citizens of all ages should stand at attention, face the flag, and salute by placing the right hand over the heart.

  • PLEASE ask Jackie to sing at the next Superbowl. I couldn't handle the tortuous look of Christina as she belted out our national song.

  • Now THAT'S how the American Anthem should be sung. She had the perfect took the time to make sure she had the lyrics right and sang beautifully. She didn't shriek out each word, didn't rush through it to get it done. She should sing this at the next Super Bowl!!

  • @Stinkyfart you hit the nail squarely on the head! This was just simply beautiful! Her pacing was perfect! She truly allows you to think about what sacrifices people had made over the years so we can remain a free people. Our flag is so beautiful. Too bad, there are too many people in the US that really don't have the understanding of her founding.

  • she needs to do the super bowl next year

  • u r such a great singer!

  • kudos to her! she great! and brave:)

  • I wish that we British had the pride in our flag and our anthem that you Americans have in yours.

  • @russellsaunders speak for yourself...

  • @hazlitt1

What a ridiculous comment. The British flag represents tollerance, understanding, achievement, solidarity, tenacity and greatness. The fact that a few mindless idiots, much like yourself, have adopted anything to do with it says nothing! I wonder if you dare disclose YOUR nationality. And if it's British, if you haven't already then I suggest you leave on the first flight out and never return. We can analyse the negatives of that society then and I guaruntee it will be worse!!!

  • @hazlitt1 What rubbish you spout ! Pride for ones country is is the heart. If your heart is not in Britain I would suggest you emigrate.

  • @russellsaunders Amen to that. Well said.

  • @russellsaunders Lovely comment. :)

  • @russellsaunders every patriot should be proud of their flag and anthem, no matter what country you hail from.

  • @russellsaunders WOW!!!! Thank you very much. We do love our stars and stripes and our FREEDOM.

  • i echo what speedy said.. she did it simply and wonderfully... whitney houston still had the best version at the super bowl years ago... but every black singer since has put their own twist on it, and its disgraceful. jimi hendrix did a good job on the guitar at woodstock with it too.. but anyone singing it this way is perfect to me... no need to change any of the arraingement ...

  • Now THIS is the way the national anthem should be sung. I cringe everytime I am subjected to some rock or pop singer wading through it like a bull in a china shop.

  • this gurl sing!im jelous of her cuz she can sing way better then me. loll

  • @juicyfrute101 You know what, you probably can sing way better than me cuz I can't sing. So, I felt worst than you do.

  • @flyingalbert loll

  • What a gorgeous child ,and is obviously the new Charlotte Church.

  • I want to yell at those who didn't take their hats off, salute or put heir hands over their heart!

  • @applecheesedoodle AND TO THOSE YOU COULD HEAR YELLING IN THE BACKGROUND
