In 2007, the U.S. Congress addressed etiquette for the pledge of allegiance and the national anthem in 36 USC 301. When saying the pledge of allegiance, citizens of all ages should stand at attention, face the flag, and salute by placing the right hand over the heart.
Now THAT'S how the American Anthem should be sung. She had the perfect took the time to make sure she had the lyrics right and sang beautifully. She didn't shriek out each word, didn't rush through it to get it done. She should sing this at the next Super Bowl!!
