In this video Mai is 10 years old. This episode came out in June of '06. She's not a soloist, yet, so no solo albums. She's in the groups C-ute and and the newly revived Petitmoni.

And the girl standing with her was that episode's host, Niigaki Risa of Morning Musume. She's one of the more recognizable members since she her lip tends to lift up a bit on the left side; like Elvis, only not on purpose. And she has the deepest singing voice of all the Momusu girls.

None of the girls were totally picked on there singing, they were auditioning for a role in a movie. Which MaiMai got, and went on to star in a TV show, a Drama, a anime and a Commercial. MaiMai entered into H!P at age 6, and was 10 when this was shot. Every year she gets better watch/listen to Futari wa NS, you can hear the huge difference. Also Mai isn't a SINGER, she is a IDOL. Two very different things in Japan.

The group '4KIDS' was put together for the Mini Moni movie, they did have a small singing part but mainly random words and notes in the background. Nothing big. They did however have to voice act and physically act for 95% of the movie. So there acting was the most important. What is now known the H!P kids audition was originally only for 4 young girls, in the end all 15 that made the cut were signed. Hence why all the girls only acted & danced at first.

anyways, if you want to record, u can always get a microphone at any computer store. install the freeware called audicity or camstudio. camstudio will let you set the options to recording a video while you sing. audicity has better recording but you'll need camstudio to put them both together.

Audacity works well because l8r u can add more voices to seem like a lot of people are recording at once.But you cant mix and upload with Windows Movie Maker Format.I had the same problem earlier and was really frustrated.U can always find an instrumental video and read the lyrics while you record on your computer. If you have ever watched my dubs I do tat a lot.You'll get used to the choppy graphics, but I'm still trying to find freeware that lets you mix mp3 and such and turn them into avi.
