SA-X is an X parasite that is mimicking Samus. Yes it looks as if SA-X came to help Samus out (I thought the same thing when I played the game in the 4th grade), but remember how SA-X came to destroy that Metroid breeding program?(It completely ignored Samus) Well it was fulfilling it's duty, and protecting other X's from the Metroid threat.
I love the ending to Fusion. You know that Samus will now be a targeted bounty hunter, but what she did is something that only a few like Adam will understand. Samus also hopes that one day humanity will understand her actions. What was awesome bout the ending is that Adam is forever the A.I. of Samus' ship and the creatures that helped Samus from the past will still be with her at the end. Really cool how Adam got them to control the ship when the Omega Metroid evolved from its larva.
This game was such a remix of Super Metroid, down to its ending. It seems all the Metroids always go back to Super Metroid for its nostalgia, instead of try to do something worth nostalgia in themselves.

Nintendo said the next will be Metroid 5 (Fusion was 4). I wonder how the plot will be... The Federation will surely be after Samus for disobbeying them in Fusion. But who will be the enemies? Corrupt scientists from another secret lab? Will metroids of all evolutions scape from this lab? Or could X-parasites have survived somehow and humans will use domesticated metroids to kill them? i've realized that an easy way to win the sa-x battle is to screw attack the core X as you cant be shot by it while screw attacking. collect the X that fly out for health and ammo.

Did anyone else ever consider this game to be extremely difficult? I always had such trouble with this one, whereas I could beat Zero Mission without breaking a sweat (unless it's on Hard mode)
The parasite Queen music was fucking scary too in Metroid Prime 1...the SAX I just loved getting away from...go in another room...then I could go shit or use the restroom if I had to which is another reason for getting away.

@cixlo dude I know that I have both of them. I currantly own Metroid(NES), Metroid: Zero Mission, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime: 2 Echoes, and Metroid: Fusion. I've beaten Metroid(NES), Metroid: Zero Mission, and Metroid Prime. In Fusion I'm stuck cause when ur suppose to get the bombs upgrade ur suppose to return to the nav. room after that. well i didnt. i kept going deeper into the place, beat the boss after the boss i was supposed to fight. Now I don't have the right upgrades to get back up.

Last thing: THE MAIN FEATURE OF METROID IS EXPLORING MAZES! Other M and Fusion are great, but Adam tells Samus where to go and if we have to find secret passages, we know where to look for. In Metroid 5, Samus should find the ways by herself.
I firmly believe the search for the Chozo Suit would be nice. 80% of the game could be exploring jungles and the inner Chozo Temple to find it, because the original suit is lost and the Fusion Suit is weak. The rest is fighting metroids and scientists.
I have to write all my ideas here, because in official website the Nintendo guys said the laws don't let them take suggestions and advices from fans anymore. Crap... But I'M SURE they read all we write here in YouTube, that's why I write them. I hope my ideas help them.
Another plot I have in mind is if Samus has double personality. Thanks to the Metroid-Vaccine, she became immune to the Parasite X and with the destruction of SR388 and the lab, the X don't exist anymore. But Samus absorbed SA-X and it was far too powerful even for someone immune to the X. This way, Samus could get possessed by the SA-X, sometimes. Her goal in Metroid 5, then, would be to find a definite cure against SA-X. And kill more metroids, of course.
This special Chozo Suit would have belonged to the oldest chozos, those who still could fly, thousands of years ago. So the special suit could look like Samus' original suit, but with a little more energy, wings could open and the face could become like a bird. That would be so cool!
I'm pretty sure the developers of Metroid series read all our comments in YouTube and many blogs and forums. I hope they read this and it helps them thinking of the best plot as possible. I hope they like mine.
Fighting unfrozable mutant metroids that breed and evolve fastly is useless. Then Samus discovers a lost ancient Chozo temple with high technology. Inside, there's a suit that is much stronger than any she ever had or saw. With this special suit, Samus would finally be able to kill those metroids with a little more ease. And after this, she would also have to prove her innocence to humanity and the scientists' guilty for using metroids as weapons.
In this, Samus would be attacked by many babies and lose all her suit powers. After her escape, the corrupt scientists would blame her for this chaos and the Federation would chase her. Only Anthony and Adam (the computer) would believe her (and maybe the etecoons and dachoras could appear to help too).
If I was their writer, I'd make the plot of Metroid 5 like this: after discovering the illegal labs from Other M and Fusion, Samus got data and clues that guided her to a 3rd secret lab in a human colony planet. She'd try to escape to tell the Federation, but the corrupt scientists would try to kill her. In this, they'd accidentally set all the unfrozable metroids free. Thousands of metroids (from babies to even Queens) would go to surface and start destroying human cities everywhere.
Looks like Samus' original suit is lost forever. By absorbing SA-X, Samus' improvised blue suit changed to orange, but it's not the original suit anymore. If that's the case, I think they should make her look for a new and much more powerful suit in Metroid 5 (Fusion is 4).

It's about time to make a Metroid 5, huh? Fusion (Metroid 4) is chronologically the last, Other M is before Fusion. If I was a developer, Metroid 5 would be directly based on the facts from Other M and Fusion. The corrupt new leaders of the Federation would chase Samus for interfering a lot in their metroid projects. By accident, thousands of unfrozable metroids would escape from one of their secret labs, in an important human colony planet, then they'd blame Samus for this. I see no better plot

when i saw i had to crash the planet, i just said damn, cause i knew there was a countdown.When i was racing to my ship, im all like YAY i beat the game! Then, i see the egg. I was pissed, cause i thought i'd have to kill like 30 metroids, but then the f***ing omega pops up with a ear rape, i just yelled out SHIIIIIIIIIIT! Then when i saw it almost kill me in one hit i said WTF MAN! It just surprised me of what sa-x did to save u. Finally i got mah good beams back and won.

@marounne I don't think so. You rescue those animals in Fusion and Super Metroid. I think the ones in this game are from when you have to rescue them from the lab. They could be from Super Metroid, though.

@marounne yup. The bird is the Dachola and the little bunny things are the Eticoons. The dachola teaches you how to use the speed burner and the Eticoons teach you how to wall jump.

Btw in chronoligical order the Metroid series goes from Metroid (NES)/Metroid Zero Mission (Gameboy), Super Metroid (SNES)/Metroid: The Return of Samus (Gameboy Color), Metroid Other M (Wii), and Metroid Fusion (Gameboy). For all who don't know the order.

@cixlo dude I know that I have both of them. I currantly own Metroid(NES), Metroid: Zero Mission, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime: 2 Echoes, and Metroid: Fusion. I've beaten Metroid(NES), Metroid: Zero Mission, and Metroid Prime. In Fusion I'm stuck cause when ur suppose to get the bombs upgrade ur suppose to return to the nav. room after that. well i didnt. i kept going deeper into the place, beat the boss after the boss i was supposed to fight. Now I don't have the right upgrades to get back up.

Last thing: THE MAIN FEATURE OF METROID IS EXPLORING MAZES! Other M and Fusion are great, but Adam tells Samus where to go and if we have to find secret passages, we know where to look for. In Metroid 5, Samus should find the ways by herself.
I firmly believe the search for the Chozo Suit would be nice. 80% of the game could be exploring jungles and the inner Chozo Temple to find it, because the original suit is lost and the Fusion Suit is weak. The rest is fighting metroids and scientists.

Another plot I have in mind is if Samus has double personality. Thanks to the Metroid-Vaccine, she became immune to the Parasite X and with the destruction of SR388 and the lab, the X don't exist anymore. But Samus absorbed SA-X and it was far too powerful even for someone immune to the X. This way, Samus could get possessed by the SA-X, sometimes. Her goal in Metroid 5, then, would be to find a definite cure against SA-X. And kill more metroids, of course.

This special Chozo Suit would have belonged to the oldest chozos, those who still could fly, thousands of years ago. So the special suit could look like Samus' original suit, but with a little more energy, wings could open and the face could become like a bird. That would be so cool!
I'm pretty sure the developers of Metroid series read all our comments in YouTube and many blogs and forums. I hope they read this and it helps them thinking of the best plot as possible. I hope they like mine.

Fighting unfrozable mutant metroids that breed and evolve fastly is useless. Then Samus discovers a lost ancient Chozo temple with high technology. Inside, there's a suit that is much stronger than any she ever had or saw. With this special suit, Samus would finally be able to kill those metroids with a little more ease. And after this, she would also have to prove her innocence to humanity and the scientists' guilty for using metroids as weapons.
I'd make the plot of Metroid 5 like this

If I was their writer, I'd make the plot of Metroid 5 like this: after discovering the illegal labs from Other M and Fusion, Samus got data and clues that guided her to a 3rd secret lab in a human colony planet. She'd try to escape to tell the Federation, but the corrupt scientists would try to kill her. In this, they'd accidentally set all the unfrozable metroids free. Thousands of metroids (from babies to even Queens) would go to surface and start destroying human cities everywhere.

Looks like Samus' original suit is lost forever. By absorbing SA-X, Samus' improvised blue suit changed to orange, but it's not the original suit anymore. If that's the case, I think they should make her look for a new and much more powerful suit in Metroid 5 (Fusion is 4).

It's about time to make a Metroid 5, huh? Fusion (Metroid 4) is chronologically the last, Other M is before Fusion. If I was a developer, Metroid 5 would be directly based on the facts from Other M and Fusion. The corrupt new leaders of the Federation would chase Samus for interfering a lot in their metroid projects. By accident, thousands of unfrozable metroids would escape from one of their secret labs, in an important human colony planet, then they'd blame Samus for this. I see no better plot
