Silent hill = something that cannot be described: only to those individuals who experience the deep, psychological horror and the aftermath (makes you think even after you play it) of something thats just not only a game (dont wanna get into too much detail)
resident evil = your fun, fanbase, overratted series. dress like chris redfield like everyone else kinda thing. collect the toys like the other peeps. have fun with the other dudes with your toy guns.
when we say resident evil we are talking about before 4 and 5. the ones with REAL zombies. well most of us. but 4 and 5 arent just a dumb idea lol the first resident evil and first silent hill are amazing, its sad they dont make games like those anymore... :(
@zhoban Resident Evil 4 and 5 and Like Condemmed. But In 3rd Person view and theres light. I Mean Just Put Resident Evil to First person and Make everything Dark. It Would Be Just Like Silent Hill But With Deformed Monsters. Put Silent hill into First person and its Just the Same.
RE e SH sono in realtà giochi molto diversi. Senza ombra di dubbio, il primo basato maggiormente sull'azione, il secondo, invece sul cervello. Io preferiso di gran lunga Silent Hill, per tanti motivi: l'originalità in primis. SH è un mondo a sè stante che si differenzia dagli altri survival horror; la profonda psicologia dei personaggi, le tinte tristi, quasi malinconiche, gli enigmi ingegnosi... Direi che RE è solo un gioco, SH va ben oltre. Offre tanti spunti di riflessione molto complessi.

im not really a fan of silent hill, im a fan of resident evil. silent hill games actually make me scared but after the scarring, it gets rlly boring but with resident evil it comes with a scare and fun all thruout the game and movies.

This. SH is a slightly reformed rehash of RE in terms of game-play and some plot elements, but still fun to play.

maybe, but RE 4 and 5 are still good games, and it dosen't just matter about how scary the games are, it matters more about how enjoying they are
