  • @maxfm83 in the world cup, Warburton dropped the french winger, on his head. The rule is- you are allowed to pick someone up, but you have to place them back down on their back. There you go...

  • think the second tackeler made it look worse than it would hav been if it were just haskel

  • Baring in mind Johnston is 22stone, that's an incredible tackle!

  • Impressive tackle to say the least - but tackling one of the biggest rugby players in the world doesn't earn you enough lad points to mean you are not a massive tub of shit XD

  • Ooo.... nearly a spear

  • this wouldnt be a penalty in Rugby League....

  • @choracy27 but a scrum would be....

  • this wouldnt be a foul in Rugby League....

  • @choracy27 - it's not a foul in Rugby Union either. The referee calls for a scrum, not a penalty.

  • Class tackle

  • Text Book Tackle.

  • Haskell laded on a coushen

  • someone tell me the difference between that good tackle and a straight red in a world cup semi final...

  • @maxfm83 the difference is warburton let the guy go and haskell drove him into the turf

  • @maxfm83 very little

  • @maxfm83 It was because Warbutton let go of Clerc slightly before he hit the ground, but I think it should still have only have been a yellow.

  • @maxfm83 falls sideways not straight down head first.

  • @maxfm83 Haskell kept him effectively horizontal. Landed on his back/shoulder. Warburton flipped so Clerc was landing neck/head/shoulder, facing vertically down.

  • @maxfm83 as he was returned to the ground with a less than 45 degree angle with his feet slightly above 180 degrees making it a legal perfect tackle, Warburtons tackle in the semi-final was a red card as his legs were lifted far above his head and it was extremely dangerous. If you really want to see an injustice for a good tackle go watch stephen Ferris' tackle, now that card was bullshit

  • @maxfm83 There's a massive difference. Johnston's legs don't go vertical, Haskell is in control of the tackle and Johnston lands saftely. The tackle in the semi final was completely illegal, 'If you take a player of his feet it's your responsibility to bring him down with care'. Warburton was in no control, he dropped the player on his neck, there is a massive difference between these tackles.

  • Great tackle and he would have got him back on the ground fine if the other player hadn't joined the tackle too.

  • haskells a beast, too bad hes english

  • He is trying to get the guys hips down. He fails by a micro second. Not a spear and not dropped.

  • wtf with all that pink uniform? O_O

  • @lovespuds1970 Use your eyes mate. That's not a spear tackle - a spear tackle goes down on the neck (like, you guessed it, a spear going into the ground). Johnston gets dumped on his back.

  • Thats a spare Tackle.. this girl briin o'dribble got pumped by one of them and some english spin doctor is still banging on about it.

  • trust the french to insist on making the players wear pink...hehehe that dude picked him up like it was nothing..hehehehe...but seriously wouldn't wanna run into either of them..

  • @leelockington it because the one season they did really badly and the chairman made them wear pink the next season to remind them and they have done well ever since whilst wearing pink or other garish tops

  • @ruggerboy99 lol is that true? Coz I can't think of any other reason why anyone would wear them. That amount of pink in that shade is perfect for making hot manly men look flamboyantly homosexual.

  • @aprioriReification I dont know what ruggerboy said but think about it. Us rugby players wear short shorts, change in the same locker room, shower together and stick our heads between each other's asses in scrums and mauls. I mean it is a very homosexual sport and we all look very homosexual playing it...in a manly way.

  • Rugby - the only sport where you can wear pink and still look nails.

  • God that pink uniform is horrible - they look like a bunch of homosexuals.Good tackle though

  • pink?

  • Its not Haskell's fault. Another player tips CJ over.

  • it looked like that tackle took all of his energy away lol

  • @0910dc You mean Tom Wood buddy.

  • at 0:26 he was flat footed at really wasnt expecting that hit..but all the credit to haskell for picking up 135kg clean and jerk.

  • Damn, try picking those tree trunks up

  • I assume that was the only woth-while moment of the game judging on the time and score so far.

  • Haha nice tackle. No wonder the Pacific Islanders and Fiji Tonga and Samoa have such easy player to tackle.

  • Hmmmm...... try searching for Jonah Lomu... Tana Umaga.... just to name 2... if you want more, just let me know and we can start this conversation over again...

  • @mongrelseason what are you on about, if your gonna talk about big hits, dont be biased and only name nz players. you should obviously mention samoa fiji before nz. besides every country could name people who put in big hits, its not hard

  • @0910dc the comment I was responding to - posted by mcphersonleesunit at the bottom of the page, and I quote was "Haha nice tackle. No wonder the Pacific Islanders and Fiji Tonga and Samoa have such easy player to tackle", which I think I rightly replied with "a couple of players... Tana Umanga and Jonah Lomu... both of whom are "PACIFIC ISLANDERS“ or are they not? therefore... you should try to read past the first 3 lines and you might actually see where my comments originated from.

  • @mongrelseason but your comment doesnt show you responded to anything only that you posted this "Hmmmm...... try searching for Jonah Lomu... Tana Umaga.... just to name 2... if you want more, just let me know and we can start this conversation over again...

    mongrelseason 3 weeks ago "

yes they are pacific islanders but you cannot deny that you only named nz players because your biased. hey if you want to name big hitters brian lima is way better than all them

  • @0910dc you sure you are not the admin on this post? I think I am free to post my response (in general) anywhere on the page. Great point bringing Brian Lima - yet another pacific Islander - into the argument. Where did he play his provincial rugby? NZ, NZ, NZ, France, Japan & other parts of the UK... Yes, born in Samoa, Yes, played for Samoa - eventually but played most of his rugby in NZ.. Why do I know? He like myself, am a PACIFIC ISLANDER!!

  • @0910dc I am not biased at all... I was in fact, responding with facts to a comment made... and like I said, "if you (you too Mr. Admin) want more names - of Pacific or even Non-Pacific Island players whom are hard to tackle.. just let me know... yet again seems like another northern hemisphere whinger getting on his bike without really understanding the comments & responses made..

  • @mongrelseason well seeing as though you didnt actually reply to the comment i just thought you were naming nz players randomly just because they can hit hard. dont say not understanding comments when you never even replied to anyone, i think its you who doesnt undertsnad the format of youtube or its reply system. i dont care who can tackle hard anyone can but only naming nz players did look bias. i guess it looks like another southern hemisphere retard who cant even use youtube properly

  • @0910dc As you are the self appointed Admin / Police of this site, I suppose I should adhere to your commands... but then again... keep arguing till you are blue in the face...

  • @mongrelseason why thankyou i will accept the position of admin. what i do like is that you never replied to my comment, you only made a slightly funny joke which i enjoyed, but hey atleast you have now mastered the art of replying to a comment, well done. also one more thing smart arse it takes 2 to argue so same to you too :)

  • @0910dc funny little man (???) arent you... hitler!! BTW, if we really want to get to the root of things.. the original comment was about "Pacific Islanders being easy to tackle"... nothing about hard hitters.. hey, shine in your little light whilst you can....

and as for the smart arse comment - i have been called worse by better people so keep 'em coming! Enjoy you lonely little life little man!

  • @mongrelseason no getting to the root of it. you posted a comment which wasnt a reply to anyone elses comment( which you now say it is a reply) where the only players you listed who can hit hard were players that played for nz. yes they are pacific islanders but it is you being bias just naming them as they arent even up there with the top hard hitters, apart from lomu. what are you on about hitler for? is that supposed to be funny because im british? how did you know about my sad life? :(( lmao

  • I expected better than a lame spear attempt. Under the rules that should have a been a yellow as he turned him in the tackle and brought him down on his shoulder/head. Haskell is shit.

  • @kimberreley wow your stupid...

  • @jg471 In what way can I be accused of being stupid? I clearly state the law, give a reaction to a rather average, slightly illegal tackle and make a comment about the my opinion on Haskell's technical rugby ability. Your reply however says that you are not very bright and can't spell as what you should have written was you're. But thanks for the unfounded witless lame attempt at a reply. Dick.

  • @kimberreley no i'm obviously not very bright as i made one grammatical mistake, i mean the fact i'm taking my a level maths and physics a year early in a couple of weeks mean fuck all right? gee i hope i get to be as clever as you one day... calling an international rugby player shit, you sir must be an intellectual powerhouse.

P.S. you say my reply was witless and then end the comment with "dick"... kinda ruins your point

P.P.S. what does "the my opinion" mean?? or am i being stupid again?

  • @jg471 Yes your reply was witless. Three words with no explanation or reason. Me saying that you're a dick is fine as you clearly are and have little understanding of this sport. You're boring me now so I'm off. Oh and by the way i should be I, grammar still going well? Good luck in your A-levels. taking them a year early is common place in a lot of educational institutes.

  • @jg471 you surely mean "you are". Unless you were referring to his "stupid". Does he own a "stupid"? Can anyone actually OWN a "stuipid"? What's one of those, then?>

  • @stroketheboat a) if your going to have a channel picture don't choose one which makes you look like a peado and then go talk to 15 year old kids on the internet... people get in trouble for that kind of shit.

    b) yes i meant "you are", thank you for pointing that out in such a condescending way, much appreciated.

  • @jg471 Angry.

  • @kimberreley shut up, how can you say he tried to spear him? and o call him shit is just stupidly arrogant . he doesnt get in the england team for nothing you know

  • @0910dc He turned him in the tackle and he came down on his shoulder. I have seen yellow cards given for less. Haskell is an average player technically but an absolute athlete physically. I personally don't feel he should be in the England side as there are better team players out there such as Robshaw, Wood, Armitage, Croft, Moody, Easter etc. If all of these guys were at all fitness then I feel he shouldn't be in the side.

  • @kimberreley thats true hes not as good as others but he will play the whole game at the pace he started it at and his athleic abilities do make up for the fact he isnt the best rugby player. fair enough i do agree with croft and moody and joe wood but not armitage, down to opinion anyway so it doesnt matter lol

  • FRENCH RUGBY SUCKS DICK LOL

  • @Trav1s101 lol i love you so much, please message me xox

  • @Trav1s101 Argumentation without subtance

  • wouldn't last ten minutes in the NRL....

  • @jock996 NRL sucks donkey dick

  • @alexithymiadelarge yeah cos kick and clap is so satisfying to watch!

  • Considering Haskell is 6ft 3in and built like a tank (weighing about 240lbs) , its not surprising he was able to dump tackle Johnson

  • his double leg takedown would put many wrestlers to shame, that was beautiful

  • dhdh

  • Haskell got lucky >.<

  • i bet the 2 of those guys made one HELL of a dent in the ground in doing that! lol

  • wow whitey does not get penalised just a lot of adulationand yeah go you dealt to that guy hahahahaha double standards yeah? of course!

  • Haskell tank, im a tigers fan but crane is a pile of wank

  • wouldnt go that far, i too am a tigers fan, but he can make good runs

  • yh tbf hes bin playing better since i posted that comment something tells me he read it along the line, anyway i still think haskell is better lol :P

  • I agree, he's way too slow and lumbering, he either needs to be stronger or quicker. Although he's not a bad number 8, because his work rate is phenomenal, just not a great one.

  • @RugbyHitsRUs are u kidding? have u seen him pace tuilagi? >.<

  • @paddybebop Who're you talking about?

  • @RugbyHitsRUs

im pretty sure that you are joking... right ??

  • thats a 135kg/300lb man that just got dumped

  • @rob12192 138kg actually :P

  • very nice, good to see him back in an England shirt

  • james haskell with help of another team mate.

    -.-

  • @llevijr thats not true !!!!!

  • @llevijr Yeah Haskell had already started lifting him before his teammate hit the blokes leg so without help from team mate

  • killer

  • big tackle

  • great tackle

  • Don't like rugby but got to admit awsome takle

  • pink power
