Here are some ironic things in this video:

1. At the beginning and end of the video Professor Oak had the same voice as Lavitz from the Legend of Dragoon Let's Play

2. Cody's rival name is Emile as in chuggaaconroy's real name. Chuggaaconroy did a firered let's play. He also picked the same starter.

3. It's odd how many times he mentions the anime. Note that the first wild pokemon he ran into was a pidgey, Sound familar to the first episode of Pokemon?
