lebanon was invaded once when lebanon had a standing army. 1982 lebanon was in a civil war and the army had been collapsed and no longer a military since everyone in it left to join a side. but you tell me what is the UN doing in the south? NOTHING it was supposed to implement and enforce resolution 1701 disarm hizbullah and stop isreali violations of lebanese airspace and land. turns out, UNIFIL is a bunch of pussies and the lebanese army who is weaker then UNIFIL fought.
