  • yes you can loose your money if you dont take action. There is time value for each option which will erode as you come close to maturity.

    This is a very risky business not for everyone.

  • but how do you control your risk? you spent $4750 in option premiums, what if goog didn't go up this big like in this example? it's a very quick way to lose 5 grand, no?
