This is what to expect when you have a bunch of people with the job of governing other people. In order to have something to do, they think of crazy stuff like this. They would never ban alcohol, cigarettes, refined sugar, coke and McDonalds. Things that everyone knows are killing people. As people have been taking these medicines for thoasands of years, I doubt these herbal medicins are being rejected on safety grounds.

That leaves effectivness. I guess noone can show that these herbs help sick people. I am not asking for empirical ( I know Or I took these herbs and was helped) but blinded tests where teh person doesn't know if theey are getting a herb or a placbo.

That really depends per supplement. There's many (western) studies showing Ashwaganda, Epimedium, Tongkai Ali etc. all safely increase naturally produced testosterone for men with hormone problems, osteoporoses or other muscle related diseases. WESTERN STUDIES. Yet all of these will get banned.

@chich234 oh, i had read this... Chinese medicine and herbal ban to see Britain defy EU laws | Metro and that the ANH are arguing that no account is being made of dosage - i.e., the dosages in which many of these herbs are typically given/taken do not constitute a toxic risk.

The European body in charge of this move are saying that they do not have the power to enforce a ban, as such, but merely want to draw up a list of ingredients they feel may pose a risk for guidance purposes.

Ayurveda is sanatana dharma ( eternal nature) , intellectual property of India and the central medical system, even if every was Ayurvedic herb was stolen by these known nazis the Ayurvedic practitioner can still make formulations by using the mantras for those herbs its an imperishable science

Lets hope we are not FORCED to "rely" (LOL) on western medicine's pills, which have more serious side effects. For instance, a chronic sinus infection, they just give you multiple rounds of abts & a few steroids & tell you to take decongestants. Sinus/allergies, it's their bread and butter. People die because the ENT didn't "appreciate" your sinus infection. But, what can they DO? Aspirate pus from your sinuses and do a culture and sensitivity after you''re on the 4th abt? Hilarious.

My 23yo son who has a hx of allergies and asthma finds boswellia helps like nothing else. It is not expensive. Quercetin, bromelain w/ vit c also helps greatly.

I am discovering olive leaf extract is quite amazing.
