  • I add hamburger cooked with onions and taco seasoning. Also, diced jalapenos and some jalapeno juice! Delish!

  • Cheese splitting and becoming oily is not a problem with the cheese its a problem with the person cooking it.

  • OMG 5+minutes just for a bloc of velveeta and a can of tomatoes! Are you serious?? And why are you two, the one the left obviously has nothing of interest to say!

  • Why not use fresh whole diced tomatoes and fresh lalapinos?

  • can i use triple layer cheese which has pepper and chillies in it?????

  • you girls are very beautifull

  • I want real nacho cheese dip... What is this omg!

  • i also use a little milk :)

  • nice

  • Queso did not originate in Spain! It originated in Texas as a tex-mex version of Queso Chihuahua and Queso Flameado from Northern Mexico.

  • You could also use cheddar cheese soup instead right out of the can.

  • I am hooked on this, I just made some this morning.

  • Throw a pound of cooked ground beef in there also.

  • @attamalik : Velveeta Cheese contains gelatin, which is an animal product.

  • Not a very good recipe.... Very Bland...

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzz z

  • i actually found it in the freezer section

  • loved the ending, ha-ha :)

  • I've probably eaten about a million gallons of this in my life. Nothing is better than beer and chile con queso. Had never occurred to me to put cilantro in it. Will try next time.

  • Any salsa would work. Basically, you need something that has tomatoes and chilies.

  • happy new year.

have you ever thought about putting video podcasts onto itunes? that would be great!

  • i like to also add either a pound of browned groun beef or breakfast sausage, drained of fat, to the dip....yummy!!!thanks for the video and happy new year ladies!!!!!looking forward to more videos in 2010!

  • great easy delicious partty dip~~!! But has high sodium content so be careful....i love your cooking videos wish you both and your families a very Happy New Year...

  • Ladies, great video! Great camaraderie that shows! Keep up the good work in 2010! Best wishes to you and your show!

  • I had to laugh at the end. That is one of the things I love about your videos. Let's PARTY!

    Happy New Year.

  • Last Moment is ....ha ha ha ha ha.....i enjoyed

  • thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love the end ;)

  • yea what kind of cheese can you substitute it with ladies? thanks

  • You can melt butter (1-2 Tbsp) in a heavy bottom pan and add equal part of all-purpose flour. Let is cook until light pink in color. Add a little milk or sour cream. Whisk so there are no lumps. Add shredded cheese (cheddar works great) and allow it to melt.

  • thank you for this response will deinitely giv it a try

  • well, i guess, i won't be making this dish anytime soon. we do not have this type of cheese in the UK. :(

  • can you give alternatives to the cheese? there is nothing like that where i live (in denmark) and i think many ppl have the same problem

  • I don't have it where I live, but I think you could use every cheese that melts creamy, like (I don't know if it's in denmark) but these little cubes of soft cheese, (la vache qui rit) or something of that kind (or zizi or some melting cheese)

    hope this helped you =)

  • That's a cute crock pot!

  • you girls should try out for Food Network. they really need an Indian cooking show on there. if you haven't considered it already, its just an idea :) you girls are great, the crock pot is super-cute!

  • nice lipstick on both the ladies.

  • ah come on ladies. i love most of your recipes, but sheesh you live in texas! your dip shouldn't use processed cheese food!! i know cheese gets oily, but it's all about the roux. both of you are talented enough to make queso the right way :)

  • Queso made with roux is super delish...but we wanted to make this super quick and easy :).

    Happy Holidays!

  • @ShowMeTheCurry I think you two are great, but I have to agree, I would never use processed cheese. It's not really even food.

  • Comment removed
