@majormajor42 he was emotional at that specific part. We interviewed him during Black History Month, he had been visiting schools and talking about Black History. While he spoke about his thoughts about being in space and being a U.S. astronaut and seeing the continent of Africa from space he got a little emotional as one of the first African Americans to be an astronaut. I would hope everyone sees the significance and why he got a little emotional recalling the moment.

this man is truly inspiring...i didn´t know about him untill tonight, when i decided to watch the nasa tv randomly and he was running a speech...then i did some research of him and i was amazed of how many things he has done in his life..truly inspiring for anyone, not just the african-american...thanks..
