The Caledonian Canal runs through Northern Scotland, while New Calenonia consists of a group of tiny islands in the South Pacific. Caledonia is now used as a poetic name for all of Scotland.

@blotmaster1 Can we just accept that both Celtic Thunder (which includes all of the singers) and Lisa are incredibly talented and deserve much praise for their respective renditions? I think both are fantastic and there are some parts of each that set them apart from the other. But to say that anyone who likes the Celtic Thunder version more is a fool is going a bit too far. Also, swearing does not indicate childish behavior.

Frankly I think Celtic Woman is embarassing. A bunch of pretty women parading around in glittery prom dresses acting cheesy...all of them have the same boring lackluster singing voices. Just my opinion, don't spaz. It's really like one big prom dress party. It's all just set up way too cheesy for me really.
