  • What the crap is David Alan Green doing here? He's not funny and he looks out of place with real comedians.

  • I'm aussie and have seen a couple of the US skits. They were okay but harland owned. Funnier than alot of the aussie's... Except shaun micalef and hamish blake :)

  • is there a video on youtube where he is in the ALL IN challenge?

  • 4 stars Short Video

  • americans especially jews only care about opportunism and stealing the spotlight at all costs even if they dont have any real talent... reminds me of developing nations

  • @TomGreenTheRock just like how blanket statements tend to be full of shit..

  • @TomGreenTheRock Ignorance is bliss. I guess.

  • thank god there's funny canadians

  • this is like the same one that josh lawson did

  • is this improv?

  • holy shit what show is this it kicks ass lol

  • Just press 1 for a far away sound.

  • definately the best of the US series. Everyone else was disappointing.

  • I lost it as early as 1:13 , luckily I had a mouth full of water all ready for a spit-take.

  • "Yes...Let's Do...Shall we Pillsbury"

  • "Pull it out Professor Tinklebottom!"

"That's what she said, old boy."

  • harland williams is the funniest person alive

  • at 4:06 he had me ROLLING! hahaha God love him!

  • At the end he was gonna say HEAD!!! lol

  • harland killed it

  • I think you have to be Austrailian to appreciate the Aussie version? Not saying its bad, but its nice to know the celebreties who's "here"? Im danish btw

  • That was some of the worst overacting i've ever seen....not Harland, i mean the guy laughing at 1:44

  • HArland williams is just a funny soul. he cannot not be funny.

  • why don't you suck on my Lord of the Rings slipper XD

  • I love him in Superstar and Sorority Boys. (:

  • @blissfullness93 really sucks here in the States, all we do is copy other shows from the rest of the world and turn them into crap :S

  • That guy with the sideburns plays along better than most of the extras.

  • @BenjaminWirtz yea, you should check out josh lawson in thank god you're here the aus one. he starts going off on these tangents and the actors have to try and keep up with him, it is so funny.

  • Would you mind getting the hell out of the way you freak!

  • Harland is one of the most underrated comedians of our time. Every movie he's in is that much better because of him.

  • @xnappyboyyx i so agree

  • Well I shant say any more until I've had a blast off of his hash pipe!

  • I love that there's two Canucks prominently featured in this vid ;)

  • He is one of the most underrated comedians

  • @BenjaminWirtz here, here!! well then, yes, quite! quite!!

  • He was brilliant! I remember lmao when this aired originally.

  • whos the no soul uncle tom nigger introducing the show.

  • "Would ya like me ta shine ya shoes fo ya sir?"

it's like 1943 when he comes on

  • @nerdflanders8710 Wayne Brady?

  • Hillarial!!!

  • 4:06 would you mind getting the hell out of the way you freak?

  • bring back dis show i wanna see adam sandler try

  • I remember seeing this when it first aired. I knew Harland would do well, but this had me in stitches. I hated that it was canceled, as this was the only episode I saw.

  • @randman21 lol all the others sucked

  • haha, that explains it then.

  • btw dont forget hero's returns in 7 days

  • aussies do it better

  • I was in the audience for that show, it was hilarious, pity it didnt catch on

  • the reason this show failed... is because it exposed all the non talented celebs out there....

  • yeah they didn't have any sell outs on!

  • Though Harland is definitely not one of them!!

  • Yes. And the reason it succeeded at all is the fact that with a live audience and a celebrity in front of them, people will laugh at any little thing the celebrity says or does. Even the discomfort of not coming up with anything funny will get a laugh.

Apart from a few exceptions, it a 'no skill required' way to make a comedy show.

  • that must be really tough to come up with things on the spot and be funny with everyone watching. I remember the first time I saw his stand up act the jokes weren't even really jokes. he was just saying weird random shit that was so off the wall you couldn't help but laugh. it felt like he was just winging it. so this doesn't surprise me.

  • @bearswilleatme

i enjoy his comic style because it bases itself around spur of the moment mixed with random and humor

his jokes are jokes, but a good bit of it is the build up

  • just saw him in Kirkland Washington doing another great comedy bit.

  • Why do they keep showing the judge after every joke? It's much better seeing the ensemble cast and guests' reactions. Other than that though, freaking funny!

  • what a mad man!!! the win is overwhelming

  • Oh the Hilarity! All of it improve! Bravo Harland ENCORE good chap!

  • lol so funny roflmao everytime

  • Funniest sketch on this show. Everything else's was kinda bad.

  • I agree, the Aussie version is the original right and much better. Harland was the best of the U.S. series.

  • Tom Green, was the second best.

  • i have to say Wayne Knight then Harland

  • @phongie00 For sure. Harland was awsome, they should have had him everynight.lol

  • @phongie00 checkout the tom green one

  • america is just better we eat cheese burgers

  • @bubbaclubba22 Australia does have the mighty Cane Toad.

  • too bad this show only lasted a few episodes :(

  • The American version of this show SUCKED!

    Thank God It Was Cancelled

  • this is australian border control you actually cant take a tuna salad over this border without paying a 200 dollar fine

  • Australia doesn't even have videogames. Go eat an ostrich you kiwi mofo!

    yeah, this isn't very funny....

  • i cant get over how much better australias version like fuck and this is suppose to be a good one

  • Naah. This was great. Way better than ausralian ones!

  • Australias shits on this!

  • harland williams is comic genius

  • Harland is Canadian

  • its so interesting how different American and Australian humour is

  • Josh Lawson's version was better... Williams made some good calls, particularly the last line, but all the copied components Lawson said it better. I prefer Lawson's final line with the small head, "She looks a lot different on the slide, doesn't she?".

The Aussie audience I think is better too. I've seen the American audiences splitting their sides over things that probably only deserve a small laugh at best. The camera also stays on the sketch all the way through as well in the Aussie version

  • Josh Lawson's version of ANYTHING would be better than the other version! He is just brilliant

  • this is good, but Josh Lawsons original shits all over this

  • Harland Williams and Wayne Knight were the best on this show

  • a little head. lol.

  • That was hilarious!!! As far as the copying ideas comment goes, I'm Australian and yes we copy American ideas all the time, does Australian Idol ring a bell?!

  • actually Britain started that with pop idol but I agree it doesn't matter

  • What is with Americans copying Australian Ideas. Kath and Kym and now Thank God Your Here? Real original.

  • yeh coz we never copy them..

  • dont worry most of the shows we copy always fail haha

  • Who really cares? Does it honestly effect your lives in any way?

  • 4:12 lol

  • the host is the cop from jumunji! harland williams is best in freddie got fingered

  • Very funny dude

  • i hate american comedy.. british and Australian comedy is way better...but i must admit this dude is fkn hilarious!!

  • actually he's canadian

  • he's still fkn hilarious hahaha wat else is he in?

  • Lame compared to the proper show in Australia

  • Definitely.

  • indeed

  • lol the american one isent very funny, australian one is soooo much better these guys r so imature and primative with their humor

  • Australian Thank God Your Here is more hilarious.

  • legendary

  • i made the mistack of trying to eat while i watched it

  • My stomach hurts, he's too funny! xD

  • haha very funny! if you liked this skit, watch Ross Noble in thank god your here, hilarious!

  • Pu-re ge-nius.

  • That's by far the best "Thank God You're Here" I've seen!

  • I don't know... Hamish Blake's Old Man and Mathew Newton's Drag Racer sketches are pretty funny.

  • matthew newton is nowher as good as arj barker or josh lawson or ross noble...

  • There's proof of REAL talent, quick wit and funny as hell! He's in a total other ZONE!

  • this is impromptu right?

  • only the very few americanz that attend tgyh are funny...this waz 1 of thm

  • thats a laugh. only about 1/5 of us americans are actually funny when in the australian or british one, 1/15 of those that were in the american version were good. Apperently alot of our actors can do nothing more that read from scripts.

  • it waz also great tht he came up with smthng 2 say next without hezitation

  • Harland Williams is Canadian, one of the reasons why he's funny

  • the man is simply a genius

  • classic!! harland is a legend!

  • ahahaha

    lol

    best one

  • Better than Josh b/c he dodged so many questions at the beginning

  • i believe aussie are better thank god ur here unless dane cook came on to the american thank god ur here but auusie's is better

  • proof that this show belongs in Australia and Canada

  • quick witted

  • Whats with the dorky hat?

  • he is fuckin great in this skit hahahaha, brilliant job.

  • lol they have the same pictures from the australian version :]

  • similar pictures, but not the same ones, it was more of a close up on the african womans face, and the women in the picture of three of them were completely different.

  • Harland fucking owned this show in every way...he was way ahead of even the performers....

  • 'would you mind getting the hell out of the way you freak' LMAO

  • Is that padding, who is he putting on weight?

  • hahahahahaahaha. no

  • this show was funny. I wish it was still on the air

  • aussi verision is da shiz. Aussi Aussi Aussi

  • oi oi oi

  • that skit was aussie too >.>

  • Finally, the US version delivers...no surprise he's a canadian...AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE - Eh Eh Eh...

  • 100%

  • Harland was one of the few who made the premis actually work.

  • accept david's trap doors

  • he must have crazy funny madlibs! albino kowala.....lmao! ^_^

  • cool

  • They should have used this show to bring back the improv actors who fell off after Whose Line Is It Anyway, like Chip Esten, Jeff, Brad Sherwood, and even some from the U.K. version like Tony Slattery, Steve Frost, and that Brandon guy.

  • This is ok but nowhere near as funny as the Aussie version

  • awesome act!! seen this show in my country and all the actors sucked at improv... harland ace'd it

  • "Would U mind getting the hell out of the way u freak?" LMFAO

  • WoW Harland is awsome his improv is really good this was funny

  • Lol. Ohh, this is like the one Josh Lawson did, but this one is bad. Sorry, but the American version is a bit dull.

  • yea there are quite a few from the american ones that were used in the aussie one.

i think the ausse tgyh is the best. but i may think that because it was first and i am aussie.

in one clip i saw from the US show it was exactly the same as one from the aussie show but the celebrity hardly talked at all. he said only like three sentences. it was so boring.

  • lol "why dont wou suck on my lord of the rings slippers"

  • This show sucked but it had awesome people on it. David Alan Grier, Dave Foley, Harland Willaims, Tom Green, Joel McHale etc...

  • Actully it was awesome

  • I'm American and I agree the Australian version is a million times better.

But this one is still funny, the only funny American one in my opinion.

  • if anyone thinks this is funny you should see australian version with hamish

  • Holy crap this is terrible compared to the Australian original.

The repeated cuts to an 'uproarious' crowd, and an equally jovial host, the bleeping and blurring of words, the overall just pure lameness that demonstrates how well the Aussies do this.

Sorry Americans but you just don't get the finer points that make the original so damn good.

  • this show was funny. I wish it was still on the air

  • exact to the australian version! nice coppy NOTT!

  • nope

  • im in colorado and the fox is 103.5 but harland isnt on annymore

  • isnt the fox 105.3 not 103.5

  • ...no

  • "sorry im late, the carriage hit a small Chinese boy on the way over"

    Crowd: aahahahahahahahahaha bahahahahahahahahaha

How the fuck was that funny, this whole show is lame and sucks. why don't they make it funny like Australian version? weird.

  • its funny because its random

  • if i was still under 12 i would have laughed at it. but really how is that funny? hes being discriminative and condescending. and wtf is with the tubaca thing... those people in the audience have something wrong with them

  • Sorry that was my brother using my profile to make dumbass comments. Sorry about that.

  • It's Chewbaca, hon.

  • The Australian version is the best followed by the British, then every other country in the World (even the one's without a version of this show) then the American version.

Harland Williams was excellent though, lightening fast.

  • I really like the Australian one better. However, Harland Williams was pretty good. Almost as funny as Josh Lawson! But on a normal comparison, the American one does suck. The host is horrible.

  • I agree the australian one is awesome and the american one sucks....but i've watched lawson and he's the best on the australian show and still can't top this performance.

  • no. hamish blake is the best

  • hahaha this is pretty funny. isn't this the scene with josh lawson? and the one where he sings sexyback?

ahhh australian humor. hamish + josh. <33

  • a comic mastermind . . . i love harland

  • i still reckon the australian version is funnier tho...

  • It is because everyone that they had on it does stand-up and is therefore better at improvising. However, I will say that Harland Williams is every bit as funny as them.

  • I really don't either one is better than the other, just different. The Aussie version is funnier in general, but that's because they were mostly pulling famous comedians in the American version, not particularly good improv people like Harland and Brian Posehn.

    Hamish Blake is hilarious, btw.
