Wow!! This would be an AMAZING commercial for the Broadway show! Like when a Broadway show comes they usually put ads on tv! When I saw the musical last winter, I loved it! I think you perfectly got the romance of Elphaba and Fiyero, her and Glinda's freindship, and the whole Broadway feel of actually seeing the musical!!! Great job!! :)

I want to see a movie by wicked but instead of the original cast I think they should used the new traveling cast with Anne Brummel (Elefipma*facepalm for my spelling*), Tiffany Haas (Glinda), ect. Throw in Chris Colfer as yet another irritatingly stereotypical gay character, who just seems to get more irritating and stereotypical (before anybody says anything, I'm gay) and reality TV spin-off and it all adds up to a show I'll never watch again!!

I've missed the entire 3rd season and I'm glad, because it's now an hour that I get to do something else!!

In all due respect, a film WILL be made for the musical someday. Just not any time in the next few years. They said that when they decide to make a movie, it will be when the show isn't doing as well at the box office. It only makes sense, since a movie might bring audiences back to the live show. It's a good financial plan on their part. But since Wicked is still performing to crowded theaters now with no sign of slowing down, the film won't be happening any time soon.

It's not rumors. I wemt to California last year and we went on the Universal studio tour. There was a big Wicked sign. It had the Wicked logo, the Wicked title (Wicked), everything. And it was the exact same thing as the broadway show poster (except much, much bigger) so don't be going around saying that they're making some other movie called Wicked.

And Someone has said there are plans for a miniseries (I can't remember who, but it was someone involved with Wicked)

On IMDb it states that "Wicked" is in development and has a release year of 2014. Obviously, Kristin and Idina are probably a bit too old to play the parts in the movie (not dissing, just stating facts), but whomever is cast must have a kick ass voice. I would not like to see some "popular" (excuse the pun) actress get the part of either main character only to have her singing voice dubbed in by someone else.
