There's only so much the bike can mechanically take. There's a limit for the tyres, the clutch, the gearbox, the body panels and all. If you push the bike beyond its limit (by like taking the limiter off) it'll slowly start to disintegrate quiet literally!

There's a big difference between 200mph and 186mph. Its gotta do with wind resistance, friction, engine and vehicle vibration and such.

The bike would lose in top speed (~1000 horsepower VS ~200 horsepower). Though without the 185mph limiter it could definitely go over 200.

In 1/4 mile, the bike would destroy the Veyron by at least half a second. In that case, it's all about power/weight, which the bike wins.

yea the secondary butterflys... remove those and you will feel a HUGE differance in power and torque especially down low. But you will have to re-map it. However if your going to do an exhaust and pwr comdr Id get it all mapped at the same time. I am running a full Brocks Street Megaphone system with a powercommander mapped and it kicks ass! Had the same set-up on my Hayabusa and love it even more on the 14...

They also limit the ninja, and the busa. Kawasaki and suzuki have a gentlemans agreement to limit the bikes at the same speed, stopping the speed war at 190+ mph. Love both of them, but i just think the busa is a more attractive bike so i'm currently riding a 2008 busa and saving up for a turbo kit for it.

they leave the factory with the same spec, but I have just seen one here (the UK) imported from the States in custom colours but I don't know if the spec was altered in the states.

In short if you are in the Sttes you get ZX in the showroom but in the uk you get ZZR1400 machines, basically the same machine, different marketing.

In America they consider them part of the family of Ninjas ZX600, ZX1200 etc. They may look confusing because in America they make lots of changes to them, extend the swing arm etc, etc. and a lot of customising. Hope this helps.

She didn't even know what the color of the neutral light was, being that is universal, I doubt she has any saddle time what-so-ever. Offfical dyno results BY MCN: 08 BUSA restricted on the dyno they got 183.01bhp at the rear wheel not the crank! with 108.14ftlp of torque!! The new ZZR14 restricted "only" managed 167.55bhp with 104.36ftlb of torque 15.46bhp and 3.78ftlb of torque down on the new busa!
